Brilliant restaurant on a busy street, beautiful setting with even better food.
We saw the restaurant the night before on one of our walks, and it was not only packed, but there was a nice queue forming out front. They have a copy of the menu at the front, which is massive! Lots of veggie options and desserts too! We definitely wanted to try this restaurant.
We came back the next day, and found it packed once again. The waiter asked us to wait 10 mins outside, which was definitely worth it. We were sat on a table for two, and after ordering drinks and taking the place in for a couple of minutes, our food was out, piping hot, looking delicious.
I ordered the spare ribs, which were gorgeous. Doused in BBQ sauce and accompanied with a salad, it was cooked to perfection. My other half ordered the Cheese Omelette with a salad and that too was gone in minutes.
They sold my favorite cider too (Kopparberg) which was a very big plus. It all came to about €40, which was a bargain, considering how busy they were, the quality of the food, the professionalism and skill of the staff and the decor of the restaurant.
Absolutely would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone...
Read moreSo glad we stumbled upon this restaurant in Salou. We had no idea of what the food would taste like and thankfully we were not disappointed. The restaurant is family orientated which was perfect for us, especially with our 9 year old son, who loved watching the Tom and Jerry cartoons. The service and the people were friendly and always accommodating, they made you feel it was a pleasure to be in their restaurant. The food was always worth the wait as you know it was freshly cooked and it was delicious. I've never drank so much sangaria in my life! We got to know the co-owner Yolanda as we went there to eat for the 4 nights of the 5 days we stayed in Salou. She was very attentive to us and always made us feel welcome. We found out it was a family run restaurant and it shows from the care and attention that they pay especially to the youngers diners. Also your not paying over the odds for very decent food and drink. We will definitely come back to this restaurant if we ever stay in Salou again, it is highly recommended. From the Family who...
Read moreWe stumbled upon this fab little restaurant by accident, but what a wonderful surprise! Our teenager was eager to try fresh paella, and this place came highly recommended.
There was no wait for a table, which was a bonus, and the menu was incredible—so many tempting options that deciding what to order was a challenge. Our teenager’s paella did not disappoint. The server mentioned there would be a 20-minute wait as it was made from scratch, but it was absolutely worth it.
My husband, who isn’t usually a big fan of fish, ordered the mussels—and declared them the best restaurant-quality mussels he’s ever had.
If you’re looking for something a little different, this place is definitely worth a visit. The staff were delightful, always smiling, and incredibly helpful, making our experience all the...
