One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Salou!
Olio Salou truly stands out - not just for the food, but for the warmth and energy of the team. The staff were super friendly and helped us navigate the menu in English. The lady who served us had a great sense of humor and curated a perfect vegetarian lunch for us.
We’re both vegetarians, and the options she suggested were excellent. The aubergine starter with pesto was unique and full of flavor. We also tried a sweet wine that paired really well with the meal, and the desserts were the perfect finish - especially the Tiramisu, which they prepare right in front of you. It’s not just delicious, it’s an experience.
What really made it special was the team vibe. Everyone was working in sync, with what looked like the owner himself helping out near the kitchen. You could feel they all genuinely enjoy what they do - and that made the whole experience feel...
Read moreIt’s a wonderful restaurant with a very interesting menu. One staff was very kind in explaining it to us in English and helping us to make choices. Highly recommend the aubergine parm to start and the prawn spaghetti and pizza with steak (!) we’re delicious. The pig trotters were a bit too adventurous for us but fun to try! We got an excellent bottle of wine and beautiful tiramisu too. The prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of the food - very complex and delicately balanced flavours. Highly recommend for something a bit different and...
