Dreams Restaurant Bar — Restaurant in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

Simply the best restaurant I have ever been to. The location seemed kinda odd, but don't worry. The food, staff and inside makes up the location one million times. Firstly, the food is delicious. They offer both swiss food and also more generic foods like hamburger and beef. I found that they don't have the biggest menu, but the sheer quality of the food makes it up. Quality over quantity. They also have a fantastic variety of wines and drinks; including swiss drinks. The dessert may be the best I have ever eaten. The volcanic toblerone coupled with handmade ice cream is a real winner.

The staff are super nice, and show a real passion for their work. They give you no stress whatsoever (unlike some other restaurants in the erea) and give you time to think before you answer. We where there to times. The first time, we were almost completely alone and therefore we had excellent service. Even the cook came out to greet us and ask if the food was good. The second time the restaurant was almost full and the staff was definitely more stressed, but the staff was still super nice and gave us great service. Don't be afraid of asking for suggestions. They have great taste and know their food.

Lastly I want to tell a little about the interior. Many restaurants in the city blossom with lights and music. This restaurant has a calm and clean design(Witch I prefer). The inside has light clean colors witch gives you a pleasant experience. See photos. Everything also looks new and modern. The walls also have some traditional pictures of Switzerland. The bathroom is the fanciest I have ever seen on a restaurant. Super clean and fancy.

I find nothing wrong with this restaurant and only good things. It feels like they have mastered every detail so it feels like a Dream to be there. One thing to know is that the restaurant often is full, and therefore it can be a good idea to make a reservation beforehand. I give Dreams 5 out of 5....

How can you describe something that is already perfect? Swiss Food.. better than in Switzerland, and I used to live their for 10 years. On the point... spectacular! Service... AMAZING! Ambiance... perfectly Swiss! I had a great dinner... and I will come back to taste the Zürcher Gschnetzeltes... one of the most typical dishes in the German Swiss Part. This is for sure the best restaurant I have visited in Gran Canaria.. all the other restaurants were great, but this one is exceptional... best Swiss Food... even better than in Switzerland... and the best service ever 100 stars! We went here on the recommendation of a friend who lives on the island and we are SO glad we took his advice. It was quite simply amazing, and probably in the top 5 meals we have ever had. We watched as other tables meals came out and wanted to eat everything! When it came to ours we were not disappointed- I had steak tartare which was perfection, and my partner Swiss cheese tart. Mains were cordon bleu and the meat loaf which were superb. Try and leave room for the toblerone based dessert which was delicious.
