Mr.Greek — Restaurant in San Bartolomé de Tirajana

After a disappointing experience next door at Romeo, we decided to give Mr. Greek a try—and what a fantastic choice that was! From the moment we stepped in, everything was top-notch. The service was warm, professional, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel comfortable right away.

The food? Absolutely delicious. Every dish was fresh, full of flavor, and clearly made with love and authentic Greek passion. The portions were generous, and the presentation was excellent. From appetizers to mains, everything was spot on.

It’s worth noting that reservations are highly recommended. We saw many walk-ins being turned away because the restaurant was fully booked—even though they were using Romeo’s terrace next door, since Romeo was closed that night. That alone speaks volumes about the quality and popularity of Mr. Greek.

The restaurant is sandwiched with some other restaurants. The staff are friendly, making my friends and I very much welcomed on our arrival. The food I ate was delicious. I had the deep fried zuchinni (courgettes) with a creamy dip as a starter, and kleftiko, a slow-cooked on the bone lamb dish. The starter was freshly made; nothing quickly reheated. And the meat on the bone was tender and just fell off the bone. This was accompanied with lemon potatoes (yum yum) but one can have the lamb with rice or chips. The desserts were equally good.

A small but popular restaurant is Mr. Greek. We liked it so much that we went there again for our New Year's Eve dinner. I advise you to book a table, especially on busy nights. Definitely...

I thought I was crazy to eat Greek food while on holiday in Spain 😂 but this place was amazing. The food here is better than you'll find in most places in Greece!!! A cute and cosy place, yet everyone had their own and enough space. The service was wonderful and friendly.

The food came out fast from the little kitchen but was hot, fresh and flavourful. A highlight was the Tzatziki for sure. Super creamy, yet light. People who say that the food is salty are wrong! They don't know what is flavour or when the chef perfectly seasons food!
