Our mission today was to enjoy some delicious, traditional tapas – unfortunately, this experience did not live up to our expectations. While the restaurant offered various tapas options, we were sold a “tapas platter for two” that wasn’t even listed on the menu. We were promised around 20 different tapas, but this was not the case.

When the platter arrived, it certainly looked appealing at first glance, and the portions were extremely generous – in fact, far too much for two people. However, the overall impression was rather uninspired. Almost everything was either fried or grilled, with no sauces or variety to balance the flavors. There was a good amount of seafood, which we appreciated, but the taste overall was bland and lacked the passion or creativity we had hoped for. It felt more geared toward mass tourism than authentic tapas dining.

On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and attentive, and we were even offered a complimentary Canarian schnapps after paying. Still, we cannot recommend the tapas platter for two: it was too large, too monotonous, and ultimately not worth the price. To add to that, the sanitary facilities were not clean, which further detracted from...

We strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant. They are very kind but will try to cheat you at every turn when possible. We ordered seafood and asked about the price and got the answer that it costs 24 euros per person. We also ordered the recommended fish for one person. The seafood looked spectacular but the delight ended when we tried the shrimp and octopus. It was definitely not fresh seafood, but frozen. The octopus was hard and dry, shrimps were tasteless, and some were not even defrosted. The squid and pieces of fish were quite good. The biggest surprise was when we got the bill. For the seafood, we paid 40 euros per person and for the dorada fish 40 euros. I have eaten seafood many times before and never received such poor freshness. For someone who doesn't eat seafood, it will probably be something exotic. The amount of food was huge, but the quality was poor for such a...

If you're looking for a fantastic dining experience just off the beach in Maspalomas, look no further than El Oasis! This gem offers not only great food but also exceptional service that makes you feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing meal after a day in the sun.

The menu boasts a variety of delicious options, but I highly recommend trying the ceaser salad and the garlic bread – these dishes are absolute must-haves! The salad is fresh and flavorful, while the garlic bread is perfectly toasted and simply irresistible.

Overall, El Oasis stands out for its quality and genuine hospitality. Whether you're dining in after a day at the beach or enjoying a leisurely evening, this place is sure to impress. Don’t miss out on this delightful spot...

Good experience overall. We wanted to get some Canaria tapas and found this place near the 5* star hotels which could mean ‘tourist trap’. Although, we had a quite pleasant dinner. We ordered 5 different tapas and 2 cocktails ~ €50 for 2 people. All 5 tapas were great quality (especially the homemade croquetes), but the plancha de gambas, champiñones e jamon (photo with the orange sauce) wasn’t of our taste. Also the cocktails weren’t the best we have ever had as the flavor wasn’t great so I had to ask the waiter for more tequila as I couldn’t taste any alcohol on mine. He brought the entire bottle and started to pour in my glass haha - so 5* on service.
