This place was amazing!

I grew up in Toronto where there is legit amazing Indian food. I always have an Indian night when traveling since where I live now has a mild and toned down selection. Haweli Indian IS THE BEST I’ve had in years! If I live in Tenerife I would come back every week. I LOVED the Vindaloo, we also had four other main dishes. Vindaloo is always a great test of a good chef. Not as popular as the Masala dish or standard curry so I always try it first. Let me tell you if that’s good then I know right away the place is legit. We were walk in customers on NYE. The service was great and the gentleman were very accommodating.

Don’t listen to any negative reviews on this place. Some people are just hard to please... you can’t make everyone happy always.

Let me tell you though... the food here speaks for itself! If you give it a shot you will not disappointed. That’s if you like proper good hearty Indian food.

Btw the garlic Naan here was so good too!

Big mistake returning to HAWELI. Had Chicken Chat which looked like diced chicken. Nothing like any chicken chat I've see in my 40 years of Indian dining. Bhuna sauce was bland , tasteless nothing resembling Indian cuisine. I make a better curry than this place. I made comments when the Sikh waiter asked about our meal. He didn't respond.??The meal was tasteless!! The Bhuna and my wife's dopiaza were the same. A pòr imitation of anything Indian. If you want tasteless, bland rubbish , then try this place. But I would avoid it like the plague??? To add insult to injury, the menu said meals included tax. I asked about this and the guy produced a different menu, altogether which we had hadn't seen. I would have debated the case, but was so passed off. I left. Avoid...

Came here last night, best indian meal we've had in a very long time. Staff are friendly and attentive without being over bearing. We were asked how hot we liked our food and when it arrived was absolutely perfect! Husband really does like the heat, me not so much. We did have to wait a little while but that just proved it was actually being cooked to our preference and not pinged out of the microwave. My husband had King Prawn Karahi and myself... Chicken Tikka with mushrooms rice and fries. Both meals were fresh, extremely tasty and good portions. Thank you for such a gorgeous meal. Can't recommend your restaurant highly enough.
