TGB - The Good Burger — Restaurant in San Sebastián

Very unique and wide spread of burger selections. Had the bacon jam and the blue mountain for burgers. These two looked amazing in the menu pictures but unfortunately was deeply disappointing on the serving plate. The cheese in the blue mountain was near negligible. But the burger bun is something different with a sweetness to it. These buns are used across burgers and I’d imagine you’d be tasting the same thing regardless of the burger you try. Onion rings are literally petite fried rings of onions, which is in a way unique. But then again, I’m not too sure if I’m eating circular crumbs of fried flour or real onions. On rare occasions you would see the actual onion in a coin-like shape, but not in a ring. Beer is good and can’t really go wrong...

No es el primer TGB al que voy, esto sólo me ha pasado en este así que no voy a generalizar. Es jueves día 1 (puente) y 2x1, esto supongo que hace pensar que vendrá más gente de lo habitual y por lo tanto habrá que disponer de más personal. Son las 23:15. Empezando por el local, estaba todo sucio. No habrán más de 20 mesas y, literalmente, todas las que no estaban ocupadas estaban sucias, unas 9 mesas llenas de bandejas. Yo y las 6 personas atendidas detrás de mí hemos tenido que apartar las cosas a otra mesa para sentarnos. Falta de personal. Bueno, puede pasar, aunque el local no estaba lleno ni mucho menos. Llego a pedir y tras preguntar por el menú que sale anunciado en la puerta del local la respuesta es: no hay. Sin explicaciones. (Luego me doy cuenta de que había leído mal porque es un anuncio de “muerte a los menús), aún así 0 simpatía. No está de más un: “sí, hay mucha gente que lo lee mal, suele pasar” si el cartel es confuso. Nos interrumpe otro cliente 2 veces mientras pido, no es culpa suya, pero otra vez, ni una sonrisa, y no hubiera estado de más un “disculpa” tras la segunda vez por lo menos. El cliente reclamaba que no había ketchup en el expendedor. No hay nadie en la sala, por tanto, contesta que ahora cuando pueda sale a reponer. Me cobra y me siento. Me doy cuenta de que al ponerme el refresco no he cogido la pajita, al preguntar a la misma chica que estaba reponiendo el ketchup, me responde: no hay. (No sé si se les han acabado o ya no ponen) En fin, organización de 0 y trato del personal -1. La comida bien, como siempre, de ahí las 2 estrellas. Espero que este comentario sirva para mejorar el servicio porque desde luego no representa al resto de restaurantes a los que he ido de...

I’ve been there two times. The food is ok (it’s classic fast food so nothing too special - 15€ per person for burger+fries+drink). What upsets me is that both times I’ve been there now they advertised different „deals“ or menues. The first time I ordered the menu but got charged as if I ordered the three items separately. The second time I ordered one of the menus promoted on the screens and got told that they don’t sell the menus - what?! Why promoting menus...
