Spacious and well ventilated. 2. Friendly service. You’ll feel at home. Big shout-out to Hesus and Anna! 3. They have English version menu! 4. Free WiFi. 5. Free use of clean toilets. 6. Their pork knuckle and shoulder are highly recommended. 7. Best is good value for money.

Visita diciembre 2019, pre COVID. Tras un primer desayuno bastante regulero (caro y sin más) en una cafetería cercana el segundo día de nuestra estancia en Donosti, en diciembre de 2019, vinimos al bar que teníamos justo enfrente del hotel, aquí. Tenía yo antojo de pan con jamón y tomate y el jamón tenía buena pinta, aunque no había opción de tostadas / pan tostado con, me decanté por una pulguita. Como era pronto y el plan era patear y patear también me pedí un croissant con salmón y txaka (que no Chatka), un poco así como desayuno de vacaciones (desde pequeñita para mí un buffet de un hotel es genial si tiene salmón ahumado). Croissants y bollería sin pinta especialmente atractiva, pero muchos pintxos listos para el disfrute, a todas horas encuentras gente aquí. El día siguiente el antojo era de tortilla y me pedí un pincho que, sin ser de mi tipo preferido que suele ser más jugosa y con la patata más frita que cocida, estaba bastante rico. Cocina abierta todo el día y mucha gente a todas horas comiendo, mucho hamaiketako. No es un sitio al que iría a propósito a comer, ya que tampoco me pareció que ni pintxos ni carta fuesen algo a destacar, pero sí a tener en cuenta si estás por la Plaza de Guipozkoa o alrededores, el desayuno a mí me lo salvó.

Ubicacion centrica, tanto el local de la calle Legazpi cerca del Boulevard y Plaza Gipuzkoa como el de la calle Urbieta. En relacion al trato del personal, destacar que es correcto, pero se agredecería una mayor cercania al cliente, en cuanto al servicio destacar que ha sido profesional. En cuanto a la distribucion y estructura del mismo, decir que se comprende de dos areas; La primera orientada a una estancia mas corta orientada a la consumicion de pintxos y raciones; Una segunda de estancia mas larga dedicada a al restaurante. La decoracion del establecimiento sigue los estandares habituales, adoptando un estilo rustico con predominio de la madera, junto a columnas de piedra y paredes de luminosas y fluorescentes.El mobiliario se comprende tambien de sofas de sky; los cuales destacaria como punto de mejora dado su actual deterioro. La oferta del mismo es amplia y variada, Opciones desayuno a Picoteo para abrir apetito a base de Pintxos,Raciones, Huevos, tacos, tablas...Arroces y pastas a la Italiana como risottos,fetttuccines...Sandwiches,Hamburguesas,Bocadillos,Platos combinados,Tostas y Ensaladas. En conclusion, y para finalizar, destacaria como punto a mejorar, el Cafe, dado que aun siendo correcto es bastante mejorable.

Went here for a simple and earlier than 9pm dinner in San Sebastián. Did not need a reservation to get a 2-person table at 19:30, but might be needed later, though tables seemed to turn pretty fast. An excellent bistro! We enjoyed a delicious dinner with a very lively crowd of patrons, many local and some traveled in just for the weekend. My husband had a steak and I had pasta with muscles and prawn - both dishes were large portions and very nicely plated. The small staff was jumping serving at the bar, tables and at the outside tables. Though very busy they all offered a pleasant smile and friendly demeanor.
