I came here for dinner with family on a recent holiday. We were a large group and were hoping for a special meal given the expensive prices. Unfortunately the food was fairly average and the service lacklustre. There were not any vegetarian or vegan options on the menu. I'm vegetarian and asked for the burrata, tomato and ham salad without the iberco ham. I asked if they could add other vegetables to the salad instead - I asked the waiter this twice and he said yes, but when the salad came it was just tomato and burrata. The burrata quality was poor (I've had better burrata from my local supermarket). I think maybe they didn't have any vegetables or the chefs are not competent to make meals or alternations. Even worse, I was charged the full 18 euros for the salad despite having the expensive ham removed and no veg or extras added to replace it!!

We ordered red wine but it was the poorest quality red I've tasted in a long time. Absolutely shocking for a high end restaurant in Spain where there are plentiful great riojas and red wines from the country.

The views are gorgeous but in no way worth the hefty price tag given the poor quality of the food and under...

My wife and I had one afternoon to see San Sebastion so we did not have alot of time. However we decided to devote some time to a quick coffee before tackling the sights of San Sebastion and came across this coffee shop/restaurant. We were shown a table and seated. We ordered two coffees immediately. We also wanted to order some food so we thought we would ask for a menu when the coffees came - they never did. I asked one waitress who passed me over to our original waitress who took our order and then came back 10 mins later to say the food we ordered was not available. I then asked about some tapas and she said I could go to the counter and see what i could get. Having chosen something I spoke to another waitress as my original one could not be found. Long story short, the food and coffee never came after 20mins. Severe lack of customer service. There was more focus on clearing tables and putting away glasses. I do not recommend this place even for something as easy...

Horrible experience. Extremely rude staff. After ordering drinks, the waiter refused to serve me. He said the terrace was for people ordering dinner only. I asked him politely in my best Spanish how I could have known and he rudely replied with an angry look "because I say so". I looked around and nobody else on the terrace was eating anything with their drinks. I asked him why nobody else was eating. He started shouting at me so I stood up and walked. As I left, the guy was still making a scene and gestured that he would push me. All this while people were wondering what the hell is going on. My guess would be he didn't want a single person occupying a table on a fairly busy afternoon. Or that he is not into foreign customers. I would stay far away...

Café de la Concha is one of those places you stumble upon and instantly want to return to. The coffee is excellent, and the food is even better. We tried the Tradicional cheesecake, the Lemon sponge cake, and a bikini—all of them were outstanding: soft, fresh, spongy, with just the right amount of sweetness. They were so good we couldn’t resist coming back for this merienda a couple of more times. The staff were warm and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. A heads-up: you pay at the bar near the entrance after your meal, which keeps things relaxed and informal. Add to that the stunning views of Playa de la Concha and the chilled-out atmosphere, and you’ve got the perfect spot for a coffee break (or two). Highly recommend!

Came here with family after a recommendation, food was a on the pricier side for the sea front but to be expected, below I have uploaded a photo of the beautiful view of the concha! The staff were fairly attentive and were friendly quickly cleaning our table and bringing us everything we asked for in ample time, my only contention was that we had to ask for the beer to be delivered a second time as they forget to bring it to us the first time. The food tasted amazing and if anyone is looking for a recommendation. I would recommend the beef cheek, Muy Rico! All in all would come here again and eat if in the area as the food was great, Thank you!

Café de La Concha deserves a much higher rating than it has. The atmosphere is unbeatable. Sitting right on the beach, watching the sunset over the Bay of San Sebastián, is simply enchanting. The service was another highlight. On a hot day, we asked for ice with our first order, and every time we ran out they brought more without us even asking. The staff were genuine, attentive, and fun, making us feel truly welcome. The food was fresh and very good, with great dishes that carried a local twist. Everything came together to create a relaxed, memorable experience that went far beyond what we expected from the reviews.
