Cafetería Tip Top — Restaurant in Santa Cruz de Tenerife

This is a plain, simple and unsophisticated sidewalk bar/cafe but the food is decent unless you're demanding and expect a 5 star locale. They have a pretty extensive menu with appetizers, sandwiches and main dishes. The staff is friendly but the place at times gets quite busy probably because the prices are so cheap. They are willing to make substitutions to the items on the menu, where the menu says "grilled chicken with fries" they will gladly bring you a salad instead. The food is served pretty fast and so are the cold drinks, I've been here several times and have never had a complaint. However, if you order a burger make sure to specify that you want it well done, it's pretty common in Tenerife to bit into a burger and it's all pink inside, not my thing. Other wise a great place to get good, fast, cheap food sitting on Tenerife's famous pedestrian Calle Castillo.

Este es un bar/cafe sencillo, y sin pretenciones, pero la comida es decente a menos que seas exigente y esperes un local de 5 estrellas. Tienen un menú bastante extenso con aperitivos, sándwiches y platos principales. El personal es amable, pero el lugar a veces se llena bastante, probablemente porque los precios son muy baratos. Están dispuestos a hacer sustituciones en los artículos del menú, donde el menú dice "pollo a la parrilla con papas fritas", sin problema alguno te traerán una ensalada en lugar de papas fritas. La comida se sirve bastante rápido y también las bebidas frías, he estado aquí varias veces y nunca he tenido una queja. Sin embargo, si pides una hamburguesa, asegúrate de especificar que la quieres bien hecha, es bastante común en Tenerife morder una hamburguesa y que esté toda rosada por dentro, no es mi gusto. Atención al cliente horrorosa. Personal muy antipático. Dice el dueño que atienden a la clientela con mucha simpatía. Pues a mí me trataron al trancazo poniéndome malas caras y el dueño me contestó de muy malas maneras en alguna ocasión. Parecía que estaba pidiendo un favor. Perdieron un cliente. Anda que no hay cafeterías en Santa Cruz para disfrutar. Es bastante triste que uno muestre toda la educación del mundo, y aún así, me traten mal. En fin. El dueño y los camareros son unos masoquistas. Se ve que les gusta perder clientes. Muy mal el cocinero Francisco, poniéndome alguna mala cara al ir al baño o al sentarme en la terraza. Pregunta para el dueño: ¿acaso sabes tratar a la gente para tener un trabajo de cara al público? Pues que sepas que conmigo te pasaste. Estuviste agresivo en alguna respuesta que me diste. ¿Es normal que tú cobres por un batido una cantidad y al día siguiente tus empleados me cobren un precio distinto al habitual? Sentí que me estaban engañando. Los únicos que pierden son ustedes. Sigan haciendo méritos y se ganarán muchas antipatías. Cojan ejemplo de Antonio: EL MEJOR CAMARERO DEL TIP TOP. Un señor. Perfect café, food, people, and located in the central.

One of the best memorices i had in Tenerife , in the begging I just came here to ask if I can use the toilet, and they’re just so nice and amazing.
