I had a very disappointing experience with the “build your own sandwich” option here. Let me explain clearly using their El Puglia sandwich as an example, which costs €7 and includes Serrano ham, burrata cheese, arugula (rucola), and sun-dried tomatoes.
I didn’t add anything extra—I simply replaced ingredients: • Serrano ham → boiled egg • Sun-dried tomatoes & arugula → a small portion of kimchi • Original sauce → avocado sauce • burrata cheese → kept as it is
Despite making simple swaps (one-for-one replacements), they charged me for everything separately, and the final price was €11. That’s €4 more than the original El Puglia sandwich, which already includes high-quality ingredients (see receipt)
When I asked for clarification, the staff admitted it was their fault for not explaining the pricing but didn’t offer a solution.
In the end, I paid much more for a sandwich that was no better, with fewer ingredients. The pricing is unfair, and the lack of communication made this experience incredibly disappointing. My boyfriend has El Puglia and he said it was very normal and...
Read moreA dreamy experience. My only regret is that I wont be able to taste all the things on the menu as Im leaving the island. I got the sandwich El Seoul that comes with kimchi and honey and based on this experience I recommend not to worry and be a little adventurous with your choice. I still wonder what was that awesome smoky flavor.🤤 Pecan pie with icecream was out of this world too, not overly sweet, pecans well roasted, very close to perfection. The coffee was well balanced between bitter and acidic, not too much of either. They make their own roast. The staff was superfriendly, I didnt feel rushed at all, they took the time to help me choose the perfect thing. Prices very reasonable, I would be willing to pay more.😉 The only thing on the slightly negative spectrum I can say is that the menu on the board is not in english so its not very tourist friendly. A lovely experience nevertheless.
P.S: The cafe is gluten-free friendly, its not written on the menu but they bake their own gf bread and have many salty and sweet options to choose from so...
Read moreReally happy to have found this chilled place initially, but one thing that is a mood killer is the constant bipping from the "drink pick up" system, where you have to go get your drink yourself when it's ready - which in itself is not the way to serve customers already but ok. Really hard to chill with the non stop agressive sounds from the devices which don't just bip once but all the time until you bring it back... Absurd. The single speciality espresso was great, the seed bread from the salmon/avocado toast was excellent, but the whole thing was way too salty (with too many salty capers), and I'm not sure why I was charged for extra avocado wince there was just for small slices in total. Good experience overall and very friendly waiters, I recommend going upstairs with the view on the balcony and church, but you can do better overall. The toilets also need better care...
