Charlie's Bistro los Gigantes — Restaurant in Santiago del Teide

So glad that I checked out Charlie’s Bistro before arriving in Los Gigantes & managed to get a table on not one but two evenings. The menu, although small, caters for all tastes. The first evening we chose the duck, the chicken vol au vent, a fish dish & the cannelloni. Everyone taste tested all dishes and all agreed that everything was delicious although the cannelloni won. The house wine is divine & very competitively priced. We don’t usually bother with desert but the choice was compelling. We tried the ice cream sundae with gorgeous cherries and the crème brûlée with 4 spoons, we were not disappointed. The atmosphere & service was spot on and it was great to meet the French chef at the end of service. Jason is a fabulous host and very happy that we could return the following evening to indulge in cannelloni & some gorgeous side dishes. Charlie’s Bistro is a must if you are visiting...

Outstanding Dining Experience – A Must-Visit!

Charlie’s Bistro in Los Gigantes was, without a doubt, the best meal we had during our trip. Everything about this place is exceptional – from the warm and welcoming atmosphere to the incredible food.

The French chef and his English partner make a fantastic team, delivering dishes that are beautifully presented and packed with flavor. Every bite was a delight, and you can truly taste the passion and skill behind the cooking.

This is a restaurant I would love to visit again and again. If you’re in Los Gigantes, do yourself a favor and book a table – you won’t be disappointed!

My girlfriend tried to call this place to make a reservation but the voicemail directed her to make a reservation via Facebook which she did via messenger. This was about a week in advance and she followed up with another message a few days later. When we headed to the restaurant thinking our RSVP had been captured there were plenty of tables without reserved signs and we referred to the messages she had sent and even showed them on the phone. We were met by nothing but a very rude and angry attitude by a lady who funny enough looked a lot like my grandmother. Needless to say, we turned around and went to another restaurant that offered FINE DINING. We will never come back to this...
