Dear god, nobody has ever told this man that they loved him to be such an arrogant person. My wife, 7 month old daughter and I arrived separately to this bar this morning. My wife was told she couldn't sit down in the shade and told to move to the table across the road with no shade with a very young 7 month old baby. She ordered a coffee and was surprisingly served somehow as the bar was quiet. I then arrived about 15 minutes later and ordered a beer. I had finished my beer literally about 5 seconds and the owner came over asking us to leave as he needed the table. I politely told him I wasn't finished and ordered another beer. An elderly couple came and ordered 2 coffees and were refused to be served even though coffee is on the menu (possible discrimination case?). My wife still had her coffee at our table at this point. The owner ranted for at least 10 minutes about people buying coffees and sitting at tables for hours without spending money. I asked for the bill because at this point I knew the guy was an asshole and was not going to give him any more money. Then the wind blew over our parasol, and the owner ran out to pick it up but replaced it so that we weren't in the shade because we had already paid the bill. At this point I said I'd have a bit of fun and I ordered 2 coffees. The owner flipped out and started shouting at us. I'm a very non-confrontational person but called him words not fitting for a goggle review as I left. From reading these reviews I'm surprised he didn't try to fight me........ Please...

Terrible place, extremely shocked by the rude behavior of the staff!!!

We sat on little benches with palmtrees for a pic-nic facing the sea, we did not realize there was a closed restaurant behind us. A man comes and tells us to leave as he needs to water the palmtrees. We thought he was working for the town and kindly moved. He started to spray water everywhere on us, and did not even wait a second for us to pack our things. That’s when we realized this man was actually working for the restaurant and his staff was laughing at us for getting wet.

Once the « watering » session was over we went back on the benches as no sign was signalizing that these benches belonged to the restaurant and that we were not allowed to sit there. That’s when the man came again, screamed at us that we were on the property of his restaurant. The restaurant was not even open, it is not as if we were taking the bench of potential customers... We eventually realized that the « water » trick was just to make us leave without confronting us directly.

Writing a clear « private property » sign or asking politely to leave would have been completely ok but instead he preferred to mock us cowardly with his staff. Judging by other comments, this is something he is used to do... Don’t give your money to this...

Really poor experience here today. They served raw chicken to my child who ate half before asking us why it had a funny texture. Turns out it was uncooked. We told the waiter who berated us for not telling him sooner. He asked if we wanted the remains reheating to cook it more and shrugged his shoulders & walked away when we said no thanks as we were not going to eat any more. He then conplained some more that we hadn’t told him sooner. When the bill arrived the raw chicken was charged for, we asked politely for it to be removed from the bill. He said it wasn’t possible, we had to pay for the raw chicken, he only works here & is not allowed to remove it. We asked to speak to the person responsible & he grunted, walked off with the bill. At no point did they apologise or take responsibility for the poorly cooked food. They eventually agreed not to charge for it & gave us our change in 20cent pieces. As we were leaving they again said that the bad meal was our fault & we should have sent it back sooner. We will never eat here again & would suggest it is given a wide berth! We’re waiting now to see if our child...

Each to their own! Fantastic food & cocktails, reasonably priced for the quality. Definitely the nicest Pina Colada I’ve ever tasted as was The Mojito’s Sangria, & Daiquiri’s Hic! We went there on several occasions during our time in Tenerife, it was close to the hotel we stayed at so we popped in when passing. We ate there twice, had the Tuna Salad which was outstanding and Prawns the second time which came with Canarian Potatoes, we asked if this was going to be enough for two of us and the owner ensured us it was and he was right which I thought was really honest of him. We found the owner and the staff really friendly at all times and he even brought us a round of drinks which i haven’t had happen in a long time. He obviously likes his Blues & Soul music as do we so it really couldn’t have been a better experience for us. It’s a cash only bar possibly due to a lack of Wi-Fi but it was clearly signed and after going there for the first time and enjoying it so much I made sure I always had cash on me when passing

This bar is in a nice location with a good selection of drinks that are reasonably priced. But! We witnessed something quite disturbing. An elderly couple stopped for a rest on one of the bars benches next to the trees (see picture) for a rest. Was a hot day and is quite a steep hill. The man who works at the bar said they couldn't sit there as they hadn't ordered a drink. So off the couple went, in their late 70s... In blistering heat exhausted. The guy is such an awful person, as others have commented. Will never be back.

I didn't have any food and I was driving so I had a coke and the rest of my party enjoyed a drink. If you make it all the way down to this establishment, either by car, which is a fun ride, or walking, just enjoy. Sure, the prices might be high. So what. Music can be turned down, and sarcasm is a fact of life. Get off your pedestal, and just take it all in. Would you rather be back home working??
