Beach Chica — Restaurant in Santiago del Teide

Bar owner is a vile person I feel for his staff when it came to paying the bill told us it was cash only and sent is around 10 mins away to get cash whilst I was told to stay at the bar alone whilst my partner went to the cash point. When he came back and attempted to order another drink whilst holding cash to pay his bill was told he couldn't order anything untill he paid up in full, as if we were going not pay. We settled the bill and was screamed at whilst walking up the hill by him slagging us off to other customers. Toilets are public toilets at the rocky beach infront of the bar that is shared with no locks, running tap water or tissue paper. The owner clearly has a problem and needs help, not the way u treat paying customers. Please avoid at all...

Giving a single star since I can't give any lower. Ordered a bottle of aquarius and a glass of water, for my sick wife to take medicine, the owner insisted rudely on a bottle of water, wich in on itself isn't problematic, just a rude atittude. The real problem comes when you want to pay. It's overpriced and, wishing to confirm the tab was right, I asked for a copy of it, wich was, once again rudely, declined by the owner saying they don't use or have any they can provide. Nasty bar owner who doesn't seem to like the English. Gin & tonic was ok, but can't comment on food as when we asked for a menu he wouldn't give us one. He said "you English only eat fish & chips! .... If you want fish & chips go somewhere else !!!! " He told my husband "I'm Spanish and I'm in control here not you!!"

This used to be a lovely bar, and really busy, with lovely sunset views, such a shame it's been ruined. Other people in the bar were spoken to rudely too, so I don't think they will be back either. Don't waste your time or money here to be insulted. Can't understand where the good reviews have come from, can...
