Atenas Bar Restaurante — Restaurant in Segovia

We stopped for a very quick coffee, so not much to report, but it took me a while to order a coffe. In the end I had to interrupt the 3 people working behind the bar, because none seemed to want to serve those of us cistomers waiting.

Coffee was good though, thankfully and they seemed to have a nice selection of tapas if you wanted a snack or two.

Ideally located before collecting our car from the Segovia carpark...

Quality, no nonsense eatery, conveniently located next to Avanza bus station. Menu of the day is a bargain at €11.50. The food is good and the portions are fulfilling. Friendly waitress helped us to choose despite the language barrier (we don't speak much Spanish, she doesn't speak much English) In all, a good place for a quick lunch after you are done with Segovia attractions and have some time...

Es un buen sitio si quieres contraer el COVID, llegamos con mi pareja a tomar algo tranquilamente en la terraza, cuando empiezan a venir gente a una mesa contigua, unos 20 o así, todos alrededor de esa mesa, sin mascarilla, de pie y cada vez más pegados a nosotros, separamos nuestra mesa, pero nada ellos todos de pie y sin guardar distancia, alguno hasta fumando. Al final queríamos pasar un ratito tranquilo y nos fuimos rápido, cuando voy a pagar se lo comento al chico y me dicen que están en la calle, en fin no quise discutir y me fui. Que yo sepa en las terrazas es para consumir sentados y con distancia, no estar de pie 20 o más personas charlando, sin mascarilla y fumando, y lo peor molestando a otros clientes, y los dueños pasando. O sea nada...
