They are claiming theirselves as Korean BAR NOT restaurant, so if you’re finding for some real Korean food then DONT come.
The waitress is not friendly. Although they don’t have many food but I still try to order and the waitress is ready to leave. She had to take a step back to take my order, because she’s always step away from me thinking I will leave.
I tried to order bulgogi kimbap (which all they have are kimbaps) and waitress said the meat is still marinated will be ready in 4 hours so it’s impossible to be serving.
It was 2:45PM in the afternoon. Not that early not that late but they are not ready for serving lunch.
So if you only want some alcohol to full your empty stomach here will be perfect because that all they had. :)
Thanks for your reply!
Step away fact and rude
Wasn’t at the end of conversation but in the mid of conversation.
Waitress stepped away after stated ‘we are a Korean bar not a restaurant so we don’t any normal Korean dishes here’ than I said ‘ok then can we please have bulgogi kimbap’ so she step one step back before she left with a sense of surprise, I guess she did not expect that I will continue ordering.
Impossible
I wasn’t going to mention this but if you brought up I will say it.
No one will reply a customer with the word ‘IMPOSSIBLE’. Every English speaker will understand how rude this word is (I wasn’t going to mention at the first because I understand that she might not as an English speaker, but after seeing this fluent reply. I believe that she 100% has been well educated by her owner as how to treat customers with POLITE wording. :)
BAR concept
If you have been to Korea, then you will know NO BAR will provide Kimbap with alcohol. So thanks for re-confirmed that you are different to other authentic Korean restaurants.
?
Last but not least, when we entered the door and showed her that we are 3 people with our fingers(because far distance), the waitress immediately saying 안녕하세요.
I would understand if Korean is her first language as other authentic Korean restaurant owner are Korean and it is very common to a first language saying their language.
But apparently Korean is not her first language and it’s in Sevilla.
So she just ASSUMED that we are all Korean, because we entered a Korean restaurant. I would not call that’s a non-racism thing to do.
Anyway, all the best for your future...
Read moreWent there with the whole family, and they found us a table in no time. There were two waitresses and both of the welcomed us with a perfect English, making us feel at home. While ordering, one of the waitresses very kindly repeated every dish we ordered with the right Korean pronunciation, and she also suggested us ways to try more dishes whith smaller portion in order to have a fuller experience.
The general mood was great, it was like being teleported in Seul and every dish was genuinely Korean.
My Ramyeon was great, very spicy and rich in flavors. We also liked our Jjajang Ramyeon, a mix of sweet and umamy with an interesting texture and an egg on top. Butter Garlic Chicken and Yangnyeom Chicken left us speechless.
