Amanecer Country Mex — Restaurant in Seville

practically the whole menu is false advertising. it is not authentic mexican food whatsoever. I ordered the “birria poblanas” tacos and I did not receive any birria. I was instead served dry, over cooked chunks of grilled steak with no seasoning. There was a piece of cartilage in the meat as well. Birria is supposed to be a stewed chuck roast with a sauce made of peppers, tomatoes, onions, and lots of seasoning. There was also no cheese, cilantro, or diced onion like traditional birria tacos are supposed to have. I was also not given any guacamole, which was listed in the items description. I have never left a bad review in my entire lifetime but this is completely unacceptable to serve and unacceptable to call “Mexican food” If you gave this food to a mexican person they would cry tears of...

Run as fast as you can!!! We had the worst food in years. Our order was: Onion rings (from the frozen zone of course, but ok), a salad with goatcheese, a enchilada and nachos with guacamole, all with 2 glasses of red wine. The Wine was cold, almost to cold to even think of sipping. Salad....there was zero dressing, just a bit of oil and some swirls of balsamic vinegar creme (btw. this tastes like nothing, stop wasting time and money on it). Great staff, geat menu, great experience! The staff were very attentive and also very patient. I do not speak Spanish, and they were very accommodating and the very understanding. The food and the margaritas were absolutely wonderful. I am a 48-year-old doctor, so I am past the age of exaggerating, and I'm absolutely at the age of giving an accurate review so that people have a great experience in their retirement years. Marta, Alex, Alexis, and Marcarena were the amazing staff that were present when I was there. If you get the chance, dance "Marcarena"in front of Marcarena...just for fun.
