BEST restaurants 👇🏼 🍽️We spent few days eating our way through Sevilla, here are some of our favorites: 📍 Islamorada Tapas Bar –AMAZING!! 📍 Moya Brunch 📍 Paco Pepe Bar 📍 Bodega dos de Mayo 📍 Bodeguita Romero 📍 Artefacto Brasas Bar 📍 Mercado de Triana 📍 Donaire Azabache 📍 Bar El Comercio – best churros! 📍 Señora Pan 📍 Petra ✋Honest opinion- I would skip El Rinconcillo, a very popular and the oldest tapas bar in Sevilla. The décor was cool, but that’s where it stopped for us, the food and the service were not our favorite 📌 Save for your next visit ❓Is Sevilla on your list? ➡️ Follow for more tips @travelswithmr #spain #seville #sevilla #sevillefood #goodfood #traveltip

Now it is time for my favorite place in Seville. Recommended by one girl from my hotel I have ate here two times and loved it each time. The Bodega is large and also has a terrace outside but on both evenings I barely found a place at the bar, the place filled with locals and some tourists. The staff is great and I was very lucky and asked one of the guys working there to pick the tapas for me so he asked me what I was drinking and picked tapas for that drink. I tasted everything from vegetables to cod and found it delicious. I have found the cod (bacalao) to be just amazing here and I loved that tapa. Also the tuna was delicious and it was my first time I ever ate meat that was just medium done. I do find the Tinto de Verano better at La Cata Ciega but not by a big margin so this place was something special for me. If ever in Seville this is a must try. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to eat in this place again if ever in Seville again

Getting difficult to grade places now - you have to be pretty bad as a restaurant to score a 3 and perfect to score a 5 - the difference between 4 and 5 is huge. Came to Dos de Mayo today, when asked for some explanation of the menu, was told to order from the web page - which didn't have the same menu. Eventually after probing, a different waiter explained everything and suggested a few local delicacies. I had 2 tapas, the 'Migas" - a kind of breakfast type dish - which was delicious, and the "Flor de Alcachofas a la Plancha", which was also very tasty (Artichoke grilled). These kind of tapas bars are much better than the usual tourist traps, the dishes are better thought out, even if the service is a little stiff. Our 2nd and 3rd waiters were very courteous. The place itself is well worth the visit

I can’t recommend this place to tourists. When we arrived no one was waiting, but we wanted to sit outside so we asked to be added to the waiting list. After waiting 15 minutes a table was free, but the waiter proceeded to give our table to someone else even after I pointed out my name was next on the waiting list. Instead of seating in the proper order they decided to seat us at their “sister” restaurant next door where we were served the most overpriced and tasteless meal we’ve had in our 3 weeks in Spain. The waiter assured me the menu was the same, but I’m not convinced. The sangria was watered down and our steak was cold and contained more fat than meat. The kicker is they tried to charge us for bread that we clearly told them we didn’t want and hand not been touched. This was a sad way to end our trip in Spain, but thankfully this lackluster establishment is not typical of Spain. Everywhere else Spaniards have treated us very kindly and honestly. My recommendation is find somewhere else to eat and drink.

Our first meal in Seville was at Bar Dos de Mayo based on a local’s recommendation. Service is rough around the edges but the food comes out incredibly quick. Menu is massive and in several languages. - Pan y picos (0,90€) - they charged us for bread even though we gave the basket back. - Bino Reserva tempranillo graciano (2,90€) - Ensaladilla de pulpo a la gallega (3,75€) - potato salad with a couple bits of octopus. Wouldn’t get again. - Paleta ibérica de bellota jabugo (3,90€) - iberico ham was good. - Bacalao al estilo de la viuda (3,75€) - their house special. Cod was tender, rich sauce. - Rosada al romero (3,80€) - supposed to be pink-cusk eel, we were given cod. Dry. - Flor de alcachofa (3,90€) - artichoke. Okay. - Carrillada ibérica al jerez (3,65€) - stewed Iberian pork cheeks were homey. Decent fare but nothing that impressed.
