Bar Riviera Sevilla — Restaurant in Seville

Yesterday, on September 3rd, around 7:20 PM, we stopped by spontaneously for a drink before going to a flamenco show on the same street. The waiter who was taking orders and serving drinks outside – the one with earrings and a patchy beard – was more than unfriendly and treated us very poorly from the very beginning. Right away, we received a snappy response accompanied by very negative energy.

On top of that, he did not serve us any snacks (peanuts in the shell) with our drinks, as he did for all the other guests, which only made his dislike toward us even clearer.

When we had to leave and asked for the bill (we just wanted to get out after such bad treatment and therefore didn’t order another drink), he acknowledged the request with a snappy remark, but then simply ignored us and prioritized everyone else. Although he clearly had enough time to settle our bill, he kept walking past us several times with the card machine. After another ten minutes of being ignored, we had to go inside to pay so that we wouldn’t miss our next appointment. Truly terrible service!

Because of this, the visit was unfortunately not a pleasant experience and was overshadowed by negative energy from the start. We observed the situation closely: for the local guests he served snacks right away, but not for us – nor for another couple sitting next to us, who were also clearly tourists.

He spread a very negative atmosphere and used the little authority he had as a waiter to treat us badly. For that reason, we will not return. If I were the owner of the bar, I would immediately dismiss such unprofessional staff, as they damage both the reputation and revenue of the bar.

The bar itself looks very inviting. That waiter, however, should be replaced – the bar deserves more professional staff. He clearly has a problem with tourists and, with his emotionally unbalanced, uncontrolled manner, is simply not suitable for this job.

My lord, could the service be any slower?? I think not!! Spent a good 10 mins waiting to be served at one bar only to be told to go to another bar for another which isn’t a beer. Waited another 10 mins before giving up entirely as it really isn’t worth it! Bog standard everything to be honest, I wouldn’t bother...

Great cocktails, great drinks, great service. Sp happy with this bar. Also cheap price..... do not miss, this IS THE PLACE TO GO!!!! Don't get caught in a tourist trap. Well done Daniel and...
