Extremely Disappointing Flamenco Show – Not Worth Your Time or Money My husband and I attended this flamenco show in Lola de los Reyes - Triana last night, and it was by far the worst experience we've had in Spain. We've seen many flamenco performances over the years—especially my husband—but this one was truly disappointing. The performance lacked energy and passion, which are the essence of flamenco. The dancers seemed uninterested, the choreography was weak, and their outfits looked cheap and poorly chosen. There was no emotion, no fire, no connection with the audience. To make matters worse, the hostess was extremely rude. We were shocked by how unfriendly and unprofessional she was. On top of that, photography was strictly forbidden, which was a first for us. At every other flamenco show we've attended, respectful photography was allowed. Honestly, it felt like they were trying to hide the low quality of the show so that no one could warn others. We left early—it just wasn’t worth sitting through. Thankfully, we were able to book another flamenco show later that evening, which completely saved our night and reminded us what real flamenco is supposed to feel like. I truly feel bad for anyone who chooses this as their one and only flamenco experience in Spain. You deserve better. Avoid this place if you want an authentic, passionate, and memorable...
Read moreHad you ever come across this venue several months ago, you would probably have got unnoticed of the place. Merely in four couples of months, both the aesthetics and the atmosphere have carved this place and refreshed it with superb decoration and first-rate flamenco music live. An exquisite taste for art has changed the aspect of the premises completely and a wide range of great artists have delighted spectators and created a public, turning Baraka Sala Flamenca into a remarkable place for those who love flamenco music or simply want to enjoy a drink with friends or foreigners in a cosy environment. This temple which worships the duende andaluz lies necessarily in the very heart of the city of Sevilla, in the traditional flamenco home place for so many artists: Triana. So appealing are the ingredients this spot offers that make it a special place and a flamenco arena absolutely especial. No doubt local traditions are on the rise with reference spots like Baraka Sala Flamenca. A terrible...
Read moreIf you want spanish flamenco show, avoid this one. Performancers are all arabic(?), But for sure not spanish. Bar workers are rude and this place is far away from good atmosphere. You will sit there like you shouldn't even breath and "be amazed" of performancers. You can not take videos (i do understand, because flamenco dancers face looks so awkward/face expressions, that i didn't even wanna see her face. Same with man dancers, he looked like scared owl). But when they told its okay to take pictures, she and he were smiling like another persons.. and we werent even finnished our drinks, when dancers/musicians left with they suitcases and another workers were cleaning whole place. I had half glass of red vine, so i dont think it would take much time to innish it.. and have seen flamenco in spain few times before (also in sevilla), so, i belive, know what im...
