Rating on Google did not reflect our experience.... waitress had way too many tables to attend and could not be bothered to greet us, asked for a table for 4 and looked for reasons not to seat us since she had to join two tables together upon our suggestion, once seated we waived done another waitress to clean out table, she rightfully sent us her colleague to take our order as well since she was overwhelmed ... We ordered great bottle of wine (at room temperature) with small portion of overpriced Belotta Iberico ham and mediocre cheese platter, disastrous reheated seafood black rice paella and finally we tried to satisfy of hunger with beef tenderloin which was good... We were told to order paella as soon as possible as it would take 20-30 minutes for final cooking...the paella was at our table in less than 10 minutes and was far from freshly made but rather poorly reheated and excessively dried out with the seafood for presentation only, the base of paella lacked flavor and no seafood whatsoever other than shown on picture for looks. We left disappointed with the whole experience including the price . We would not recommend and not be returning. Either they had a very bad night or this is what we refer to as...
Read moreWe happened upon this restaurant on our walk back to our apartment after visiting the Real Alcazar. The food was fantastic. We sat outside under an orange tree and enjoyed the lovely afternoon and delicious food. I had a mango puree & I didn’t know what to expect but it was outstanding-something like a mango gazpacho. We had tenderloin tapas, patatas bravas, goat cheese, and meat trays. We have visited many many restaurants in Seville to try the dish patatas bravas and the BEST is here. Most of all, we enjoyed our server, Danny. Our Spanish isn’t great and Danny was extremely patient with us while I tried to translate everything. Danny even answered questions for me that had nothing to do with the food or the restaurant-such as ‘do you use the oranges from these trees in cooking?’ He was excellent and we enjoyed him so much that we went back in the evening to have our children who were not with us earlier in the day, taste the food & experience what we had with Danny!! So while the food was delicious, ultimately, Danny MADE the restaurant our best dining...
Read moreWe were walking aimlessly for a place that served eggs !!! Don’t get me wrong I love toast with ham and tomato jam but we’ve been in Spain for over a week and needed some eggs for breakfast. Carlos greeted us at the door with a big smile, after asking him if we could sit inside (we wanted AC, ours broke in our hotel) he graciously gave us many options. Always with the best attitude. It was truly one of the best experiences we’ve had in Sevilla. The food amazing. It might look like just eggs and hot dogs with bread, however everything tasted ah——mazinggggg. Also the atmosphere is so nice. The decor is rustic and the music is at perfect volumen. I’d love to have more days here so we can come everyday for breakfast. They do have many options like eggs Benny, avocado toast, etc. I just wanted some good ol’ eggs with sausage. Thank...
