I was hesitant about this place after reading reviews, but I'm so glad I decided to come. I enjoyed a perfect sunny day, food was amazing and inexpensive, and also big portions (perfect to share). Coffee was also good, waiters were kind and very fast, and the bathroom was clean and had a toilet paper. I didn't have this 'additional 10% tax'. Also very close to beautiful Plaza de España. I woud come back anytime!

The food was pretty good but the service was not. I tried to order and the server was busy so I ordered from someone behind the bar who seemed very confused. We had to wait for food, as the kitchen wasn't open yet. We had cheese, croquettes and the special menu with drinks. Server did not seem very nice despite my best efforts to speak only Spanish. Food was good though.

We would eat here again, but probably inside, as the atmosphere was welcoming.

Yesterday morning I fell on the sidewalk and suffered an ugly cut on my arm. We stopped in the nearest cafe to clean the wound, and ask for ice for the swelling. Marco was so kind and not only provided the ice but he personally cleaned the wound with antiseptic, betadine, and covered it with gauze and tape. What an unexpected kindness. Thank you Marco.
