First experience was great, last experience the worst ever. Be Aware!
A few years ago when visiting Seville I came across this restaurant, despite my daughter being an animal protector and seeing the bulls heads hung as trophies, we had a great experience with the food. During the recent Holy Week I decided to return with my wife and to my surprise the treatment from their personnel was very bad. We decided to eat a fish that without realizing it was burnt underneath and that was very well hidden by the cook, we decided to share it and both of us when eating it totally spoiled our palate, the fish turned into a bitter burnt taste. The restaurant was full and our waiter simply did not appear any more, we did not see him again and when we asked for the bill without wanting to complain or not to pay we made him see another waiter. He answered us very badly, he told us "If I see something burnt I don't eat it or pay for it", without even telling him that we didn't want to pay he practically shouted to another waiter and he shouted again "it was burnt but you ate it", this caused me great indignation, because he did it in front of all the people who were present. Without any explanation he took us the receipt that did not include the payment of the fish, but with very bad and indifferent gestures to us as customers that affected us and made us have a bad experience on our Easter trip. The reason for the trip was spiritual and as they say, "Despite enjoying the best peace, the devil is always present". After this bad experience, I can´t recommend this place.

Read moreQuite cheap, but tasty! We went two times and were politely serviced, and yes, they were keen on selling the fish before it went bad, but that's normal in many restaurants I reckon. The interior is indeed very interesting, so much that it gives the place a bit of a tourist trap appearance. Not one from my experience, though! You can order any of the three offered sizes for the dishes (tapa, medium, ration), so it is possible to try a lot of the native things as we did. The chicken rolls and the bull's tail were quite delicious. Now, I am far from thinking that all the food is freshly cooked since both times it came in less than 5 minutes after ordering. Nevertheless, the place was still not full when we ate there so maybe we got lucky with the timing. Anyway, worth your money. Just remember to refuse the bread if you don't want any (like in many other places they automatically bring a bread bun for each person with your order, which I find unnecessary and a tad expensive at approx. 1...
Read moreI wish zero stars were available. The food was not good, the service was worse. Some hot dishes arrived cold. We had to beg a number of times for some parts of our order to be delivered. The staff spent a lot of time chatting and having romantic moments behind the bar. Felicidades to them but at least spare some time for the job you are paid to do. The attitude of staff ranged between disinterested and hostile. One member of our party reported having a great experience there only 3 days before but for our visit we felt like the enemy. However poorly the staff are paid, overworked or hung over, its not the customers` fault and we deserve better. We went full of expectation and left depressed and still hungry. If the food had been good we would have been happy and we would have ordered more. If the staff had been pleasant we would have left a tip. It is a pity to see such a classic restaurant in the heart of Seville so eagerly destroying its...
