Ojalá (Wine and tapas) — Restaurant in Seville

Went twice so far, will go again for sure! All the food we ordered has been supreme so far, big portions, good prices and lovely staff, definitely one of my favourite food spots in Sevilla!

First day (or night we got there just before midnight) we had croquettes (10/10), beef noodles (8/10, just personal preference nothing wrong with the food), risotto (10/10), we also had Patatas, which are pretty spicy! (9/10, again personal preference)

Second day we had the croquettes again, as they are delightful! Beef burger which was massive (9/10, only because you can't chose add-ons like mushrooms and bacon, so again, personal preference), and Beef Tenderloin (9.5/10, personal preference, I like mine a bit more salty)

Overall wonderful place and will go for dessert at some point as I saw they portions are...

tapas were not that great here. the russian style octopus salad was ok but hardly any octopus and too much onions taste. the tuna tartare was ok too but nothing special. the duck was prob the most disappointing bc it was the toughest, driest, overcooked duck i’ve had - it didn’t even taste like duck anymore…just really hard dry meat. this place was also a little more expensive than other places i’ve eaten in seville with similar tapas but they had better tasting food. also very disappointing at the service i got from the female server…not sure if she was racist or just didn’t like me for some reason? she would enthusiastically serve other tables that came way after me first and hardly took notice except to bring me food and pay…the whole experience was...

I went there with my daughter hoping they would let her use the toilet. I asked politely if she could use it, since she's small and couldn't hold it much longer. They said it was out of order. Them I said, "I suppose the restaurant would not open, since it would be illegal to be opened to the public if the toilet was out of order." The men was very rude and told me to get the hell out of there. The waitress told me it was just for costumer after having lied. Business should practice some empathy and realize that a potential costumer is in essence business and they should at the very least speak respectfully, especially in the presence of children. I'm never setting foot in there again.
