July 2019. I had a mixed experience at Parceria Cafe. I arrived around 9AM for breakfast. It was a nice morning, so I took at table outside and ordered a cappuccino. After a few minutes, one of the staff came out frantically asking me if I was doing work (I had my laptop out). He then told me that I couldn’t work outside and would have to move indoors. If there were other clients waiting for a table, I would understand - but there weren’t. It kind of spoiled the experience and made me feel uncomfortable. Eventually, I did move inside per his request and ordered another cappuccino (it was really good) and yogurt. Unfortunately, while the coffee was good, the yogurt was not. Some of the fruit was clearly frozen and was only partially thawed. Other fruits, as you can tell in the photo, were clearly past their prime. I did like that it came with cinnamon, which was a nice touch. I only wish the fruit selection was better and the seating rules...
Read moreDelicious coffee and one of the best fruit/yogurt/granola bowls I've ever had. Both my cortado and my yogurt bowl looked beautiful when they were served, but they didn't just look beautiful, they tasted wonderful, as well. The barista who took my order was friendly and clearly a skilled coffee artist. I will say, it definitely took a long time to get my coffee and my yogurt bowl. They ended up being worth the wait... but, it's a little funny that they don't let you sit at the outside tables unless you order breakfast, considering it took nearly 30 minutes for them to make the yogurt bowl. I feel like they could let people who just order coffee sit out there, as they could drink five coffees in the time it takes for one meal to be made. In any case, the quality of the food and coffee is excellent and it would definitely be five stars, if I hadn't had to wait such...
Read moreGreat location in plaza Calderon de la Barca surrounded by other very authentic and fair food establishments . Its hidden deep into the neighborhood past Church of La Marina and right by the awesome little market. I must highlight their Esspreso drinks are by my snobby coffee standards one of the best in all of Andalucia not just Sevilla. The food was very well prepared especially the pastrami Sandwich was delicious although for a grown up Chicago Kid used to the deli pastrami servings in America the portions of meat in the sandwich are very very skimpy small. Flavor wise the food packed a knockout Punch ! Go there and enjoy a true feel of Sevilla and hop into the next food stands next door especially look for the fish joint in the shade leaning against a small chappel built in the 1300s. Mostly locals dinning in the...
