Patio San Eloy — Restaurant in Seville

Probably the worst ever service you may get in Seville. When I ordered my waitress a Solomillo al Whisky and a Mix Salad she disapprovingly shook her head and silently stared at me… I asked what was wrong since she was not talking. Apparently, as portions were big I should reconsider my order…although I did all the talking and she just agreed (FYI, she was from Andalusia and a Spanish speaker and I’m fluent in Spanish) Taken a bit aback I ordered the Mix Salad for the time being and a small beer. Needless to say that all punters were treated with the same unpleasant demeanour… After a while, I got my salad served by a male waiter in the rudest ways, basically, he placed the salad plate from over my right shoulder (so he was behind me) onto the table banging it (thump noise included) and walked away without face/eye contact and giving me his back… The salad was what it was… I ate it… no chance I’m going to order anything else, ever, in that hellhole of a place. Rather than asked for the bill, I went to the counter (bar) asked for the bill, paid and left…0 € tips… Don’t even bother to consider that place for a wee...

The waiter as this dive was the rudest I have ever encountered. We asked for coffee intending to order a few tapas as well but he said we couldn’t order only coffee without ordering food as well then snatched the menu out of my hands and stormed off. If I didn’t intend to order food why was I looking at the menu. I followed the waiter into the restaurant to say that we wanted to order food and he turned his back and ignored me. I was speaking Spanish so there was no language problem this person was just rude and ignorant...

Good food at fairly reasonable price.

Don’t judge the restaurant by the look of the outside. We arrived late on a Sunday and was looking for food around our hotel area.

We gave this place a try and it was pretty good. The pork cheeks on chips, black rice with seafood was really good.

Staff were very welcoming and accommodating and I would recommend this...
