There was a queue, when we first got there, but we got a number, and only waited 5-6 minutes, before we got a table in the middle of the plaza. The waiter took our order for drinks quite fast and it was served very fast. The table was a bit to little for four persons, så we had to buy the basket with the bread on the ground. We had five kind of different tapas dishes. Paella, Ibérian pork, croquettes, chicken and tortillas. Everything was tasty and nice. The location in the middle of the plaza was excellent surrounded by atmospheric apartment buildings, hotel and a church. It seems though as if they staff rushed to get so many people through the restaurant as possible.

So a bit by accident we came to this spot. Needed something to eat before we headed out of Seville to Ronda. Glad we fell into this spot. Nothing fancy, but fantastic coffee and the jambon sandwich was to die for... OMG with a tomato, garlic olive oil mixture on top..just so good. The bread could not have been better. If I had know how good it was, I would have ordered two.... And would have, but this place was jumping. Packed. We scored a table, but many were standing. I would stand on my head for a sandwich this good...

That chilled, economical, and local bar where you can order whatever they may or may not have on the menu, laugh about your poor Spanish, and not be harassed but over-attending waiters. You gotta have some Spanish-speaking skills. I thought it was delicious and inexpensive. These two tapas in the photo were €3 each. The beer was crisp, nice and cold. We sat outside to a pleasant and refreshing Sevillana evening. Worth going if you’re not of the expensive-date kind, and want a commoner glimpse of local Sevillana cuisine.

Beware the RACIST waiter who treats you poorly if you are not a white tourist. You can identify him by his dark hair, slightly stocky build, and height about 5’9. It looks like other tourists of colour here have had similar experiences with him from what I am reading in the other poor reviews of this place. This man loses a lot of revenue for this restaurant for his attitude, as most of the wealthy tourists these days are from ethnic backgrounds (like myself who was initially considering dining here before being put off by him). I have taken a photograph of this man and even though Google won’t let me post it alongside this negative review to protect the business, I am putting this man’s information into the public realm to warn other tourists of colour about him since he is a disgrace to this city. He should not be working in customer service in any...

Off the beaten path, but if you want a local place with fantastic tortilla de españa, this is worth the trip. They have a slightly limited menu, but some interesting options, tomato-onion salad with tuna, ensalada rusa, tuna-stuffed eggs enrobed in delicious homemade mayonnaise, fried calamari, with 5 or 6 other options. We would have liked to have some nice local bread, as they offer crackers and a cellophane-wrapped bread of sorts which was not very good. But the tortilla is exceptional, thick with potatoes and an almost creamy texture...wonderful. We would go back, if for no other reason, than their...
