Restaurante La Valiente — Restaurant in Seville

The place is located on a busy street with lots of other pretty similar bars. At our visit they were two staff people from which only one seemed to be “working” the other was just walking around. Every guest is getting a small welcome “gift” a small snack and a bread. For drinking, we got a jar of Sangria that was very good! You have a lots plates to share choices - we went for a small plate of cheese croquets (very basic, almost tasteless), patatas bravas (they come with an amazing sauce!) and tuna tartar (this time we got a big plate. But the portion was so small and costly that it is definitely a disproportion between price and size. On the other hand it was very good). So for two small plates, one big (small actually) and two jars of sangria we paid 40 EUR, which is not a good price. If I could give this restaurant 0 stars I would, as 1 star is complimenting this place. The service was absolutely dreadful and rude. The food was cooked wrong and when I asked about it and sent it back they wouldn’t take the cost of the burger off the bill, I asked for the burger to be cooked to medium well and the burger came about rare and soaking with blood then bun was drenched in blood. Absolutely unacceptable for chef to serve something like that.

We were excited to eat great Andalusian food in the Triana Quarter of Seville — stumbled upon La Valiente and our waiter excitedly recommended the “Langostino Tigers.” For 16€, a plate of 6 prawns were brought out, cold, uncleaned, tough, unseasoned and partially cooked. Upon our polite request for a new dish, we were rudely chastised by staff. The plate was frankly inedible.
