Strange experience in this place that makes me not want to return. After passing by this restaurant for many months, I was eager to try it. One night, my partner and I tried to walk in for dinner, but they were completely full. It wasn't a problem because we knew we came at the prime dinner time without a reservation. Therefore, a week or so later, we had called maybe a hour or two prior to arriving to ensure we could reserve a table. Upon arriving, the restaurant was pretty empty, and the server kind of just stared at us when we said we were here for a reservation and didn't have any recollection of us calling.
We ordered two appetizers and a dish to share (roll de ternera, hummus, and falafel). Once we received the food, I noticed many other tables having fries that accompanied the roll. I took a look at the menu and saw that you could make the roll "a menu" by adding a drink and fries for 2,90 euros more. We had already ordered one drink and wanted some fries to accompany the roll so we asked the server for an order of fries to make it a menu. However, after paying, I realized that the server charged us for the drink and fries separately, and it didn't count as a "menu" so we didn't get the deal.
Every experience with the server felt weird and we were given a lot of blank stares and felt like we were bothering or disrupting him from something every time we needed something (even to order!). Food was average... you can find better hummus and falafel in the city so I'm not dying to...

This place is in my top 2 in Seville. Every time I go out to eat or order food (which I do a lot because I work late) I go here. You can order online, by phone, or in person so it's handy and the food is great quality. The late hours and central location is great for both tourists staying in the area, where there are lots of hotels, and people who work a lot. The people who work there are extremely nice and I only have good things to say about them. As for the food, though the menu is small, everything on it is great. It is split into two parts - the Palestinian part, and the part that will be more familiar to English speakers. The Palestinian part has the classics like Kuftah, Kibeh, Knafeh etc. The other half has burgers, sandwiches/rolls, fries etc. You can also get Palestine Cola here so if you're trying to do the boycott then it's good for that too. They also have great desserts you should try like the Knafeh or their cheesecake or brownies. The atmosphere inside is nice and cosy. It has a nice mural on the wall, good music (often times in Arabic), and big wraparound windows that open up onto the street which looks out onto a very beautiful part of Seville. They also have a smaller shop - similar to a fish and chips place but Palestinian - about 5 doors down on the other side of the street. Check it out! I definitely give both...
Read moreI saw a post about this restaurant on social media and of course wanted to go and eat!!
The welcome was so warm and lovely. Mohammed was kind and showed me the menu and how to get an English language version. The restaurant was around half full plus takeaways.
I had the Chicken Khubzna as the description was so inviting with some fries. I had heard the burger was delicious and it looked it!
They serve Palestine soft drinks which I had been desperate to try the cola and it was so good!
The food was delicious! I would say it was a smallish serving and perhaps I should have ordered the burger too!
Mohammed gifted me a bottle of water which was very kind and in keeping with the restaurant’s ethos as customers are family, even the tourist ones, which isn’t always the case in Seville.
Thoroughly enjoyed and would definitely...
