We visited this restaurant this evening having been there earlier in the week for drinks and a meal. What a disaster. The restaurant have a new menu which the waiter had to check what the steak came with. Apparently nothing. No vegetables/salad were available to choose from so we ordered potato gratin. I ordered the tuna with a coconut reduction and Asian vegetables. The steak arrived with butter on the top. The steak was cold hence the butter did not melt. When we raised this with waiter we discovered he had not ordered my meal. The steak and potato gratin were returned to the kitchen. Eventually both our meals turned up. Meanwhile another table walked out with the delivery of their steak. Two other guests had not received their meals. They paid only for their drinks. We had to order the sweet potato fries as such small portions. When we came to pay we asked for a reduction given all the problems and ruining our evening meal out. The waiter argued he could not reduce the bill so we asked for the manager. No manager on duty. Finally after further remonstrations he reduced the bill by €10 euros. What a joke when the bill originally was €102. What disappointed us the most was the attitude of the waiter when we merely asked for a reduction in the bill of 10% for all the failings that we had put up with. We won’t be...
Read moreVery nice location but service and overpriced. Simple caña (glass of beer) they charged me €3.50, refusing to give receipt but I insisted. Service was really bad, two waitress just talking inside and not attending, I have to call finally to get their attention. It was not crowded but still very delayed service even for simple drinks.
Response to the owner (25thNov22): Really!!! you compare with a country we have no shared market. You may have compared with Qatar, right? What about Amsterdam? we still get a pint for €4-5. Or may be London or Paris or closer to Sigtes, Barcelona (a caña for €2 max) or even in other bar/restra of sitges. But you will not compare that and justify your over-priced caña with Morocco, how convenient??? I would have reviewed food as well but I guess chips or olives are not your speciality and we didn't return for food at your restaurant. I have given 3 stars to atomesphere, which is basically for the location and of course few more stars for snacks. My advice: be nice and logical with your client/reviewers, we have no enmity with any of these place/owner we review. This may help you to improve your service and justify even your price. But waiting 30 mins and geting over-priced caña and some snacks, on a not cleaned table at 17:30, doesn't help...
Read moreWe usually travel to Sitges every year and always look forward to discovering good places to eat. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had.
When we placed our order, the staff member named Alex didn’t smile once or make us feel welcome. We mentioned at least four times that we do not eat pork, yet pork was still brought to our table. When we asked him about it, he told us it was fish and quickly walked away. So we ate it, trusting his word. Later, when we double-checked again, he finally admitted it was pork. His excuse was, “I didn’t bring it to the table,” and he didn’t even apologize.
This is unacceptable behavior, especially from someone working in hospitality. It shows a lack of respect and responsibility toward customers’ dietary needs and preferences. The only positive part of our visit was another staff member who apologized sincerely for the situation.
Additionally, the portion sizes were extremely small and not worth the price.
Because of this experience, we will not be returning to this restaurant again, and we wouldn’t recommend it to others. Sitges has many better places that treat their...
