Read moreBack again 3rd time for some tapas as still full from lucnh.
Our waiter - the wife I think - as always super sweet and smiling and a joy.
Canelones - nice and tasty
Entrana meat with chimichurri - unfortunately I had forgotten why it was not a joy first 2 times. The potatoes underneath are made with think vinegar and both meat and potatoes of course taste a lot of the vinegar. Somewhat unusual mix we both think and not for everybody. Or ask for the potatoes on the side I suggest.
Chef - again not smiling and not really making us feel welcome like earlier times. When with clients - it is so easy to give a smile and make clients feel really welcome. Our waiter had forgotten my 2nd glas of red wine (for me a must when eating meat). Waiter was occupied inside at the back of the restaurant with other clients. I came from inside to ask the chef behind the bar for a second glass. The bottle of wine was already at the bar. He without any attention/no smile - had to finish a catalan conversation with a regular client at the bar desk and I had to wait (while meat getting colder and colder) for him to pour me my 2nd glas of red wine when I politely asked for this in spanish.
Still very very recomendable and we might be back in some years - but please smile a little more and try to be happy. Life is...
Read moreSuch poor service. The man was rude before we even had a chance to sit down. We walked in and past a man who was cooking. We walked past him looking for a waiter to ask for a table. We couldn’t find a waiter so we walked back to the man who was cooking (the owner) and asked for a table for two, he said no. I asked if he was open (it was only 21h) and he said yes, then I asked again for a table for 2 (there we at least 6 open tables), he again said just NO. He refused to seat us and then completely ignored us until we were walked out. Again, he was cooking when we came in and we walked past him looking for a waiter to seat us. We later found out that he thought we were rude. My husband didn’t hear him say hola. And that was his deciding factor to not allow us to not be seated and to spend money there. We live in sitges, own businesses in Sitges, and have never experienced such rudeness from a business owner who needs locals to survive in the winter months. We were here a week ago and enjoyed the food very much, but there is no excuse for such arrogant rudeness. Our euros will be spent in other Sitges...
