BFF Restaurante Familia — Restaurant in Tías

Service is excellent. The guy is really welcoming and friendly as is the lady chef. They are brilliant. Atmosphere can't comment as we were the only diners with it being so early in the evening. Food wise, it was OK and despite my comments below, i would still recommend giving it a go as it will be far better than the cheaper, cheap as chips offerings that line the high street. Presentation of the food by the way is fantastic, oozes quality. My only reticence is down to us potentially just choosing the wrong dishes. I had the chicken kebab. Huge portion but no flavour. The sauce saved it but it was just OK. The other meal was the steak which although we asked medium to well done but still arrived with blood. That can't be medium to well done but i take responsibility and should have made it clear that our interpretation was no blood so thats on us. The parts of the steak that were medium to well done also fit the phrase of being OK - not particularly flavoursome, was just OK. We were disappointed at being charged 10 eur for two ice coffees. Appreciate these were not on the menu and were specifically made but it's not right to charge that for two coffees. All in all yes would recommend giving it a go. This is a quiet little spot about 50 meters off the main strip. It will be the best 50 meters you will walk if you head to this restaurant. We went on the first night for a few tapas, as we had a late lunch and that was all we wanted. We came back the next two nights !

The food was really good. Excellent quality ingredients, carefully prepared and excellent flavour combinations. We were in Lanzarote for 5 nights and would have gone here each night, but sadly for us, the restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday.

As well as the great food, there is a small but interesting wine list where full details on the wine, the winery and full tasting notes were provided for each wine !!

The service was very good and there is a nice relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. Prices are very reasonable for the quality of the menu.

I can't recommend this place highly enough.

We are so happy we found this little gem on the Puerto Del Carmen strip. From what I can tell by other reviews they are new enough. We went for cocktails and tapas. The tapas was one of the best tapas we have had on the island and that’s all we ever pretty much eat over here. We were greeted with a bowl of cheese which was so tasty! We went for the Serrano wrapped goats which was a first for me and oh my god was it the most glorious thing ever!!!! The Russian salad and Spanish omelette was also just as excellent. The atmosphere is very cosy and romantic! Lovely waiter and the food arrived very quickly.
