Decky Dillon's — Restaurant in Tías

Update from my below review- clearly my first impressions were wrong. on our last day we went and sat on the terrace at lunchtime on a table which had just been vacated. The waitress walked past us 3 times and ignored us. She then came back past a 4th time and spoke to us very rudely about where we had put the table. We were utterly shocked by her attitude and manner as we hadn’t even moved the table, merely sat down after it had been vacated. She walked past again slamming some wine bottles down and ignored us twice more at which we decided to leave. Sorry wouldn’t come here again after been spoken to like a couple of naughty school children. If you’re having a bad day do not take it out on your customers - disgusting manners.

Disgraceful service, went today for a snack having been several times before, we sat at a table that had not long been vacated, the waitress who looked like she was having a bad day walked past at least three times and completely ignored us, then clearly on her way to clean another table told us that we were not in the best place in a very abrupt and rude manner, given the fact that the establishment are the ones who put out the tables I am at a loss as to how where we sat was us causing the problem, that aside being spoken to like that from someone who is in customer service and relies on customers was simply not acceptable, we got up and left and went somewhere else, it’s a good job that this establishment has a captive audience with Irish and brits because if that’s how they treat customers that have come back a few times then their clientele...

Recommended by threads shop owner and she was right as it's a great little Irish bar

Unfortunately service is a bit slow, they seem to be caught between being friendly and running a business (we had to wait so long we thought we had to go to the bar to order food)

The food was lovely, big portions (we got a club sandwich and pulled pork bap) but for the price being a bit higher, more than a tiny bowl of coleslaw is needed (even few crisps)

Decky is a typical charming Irish man, definitely up for a laugh
