Tabernita Tapas Bar — Restaurant in Toledo

Ya sabéis que me gusta hacer reseñas de sitios que visito y contar lo bueno y lo malo, sin trampa ni cartón, a veces con un toque de humor. Si te gusta la reseña dale like y suscríbete (lo típico :P). Si tenéis sugerencias u os gustaría que incluyera otro tipo de información, hacédmelo saber.

UBICACIÓN PARKING Y SITIO:

A 2 minutos andando de la Plaza de Zocodover. Ólvidate de aparcar cerca, deja tu vehículo en alguno de los parkings disuasorios y sube andando o en taxi.

ACCESIBILIDAD:

El sitio por dentro es algo angosto (las mesas están muy juntas). Está adaptado a personas con movilidad reducida (al menos en el piso a nivel de calle) aunque moverse por dentro puede complicarse si hay mucha gente.

Cosas que siempre queremos saber:

¿Ponen tapa?

Diría que sí. Pedimos dos veces, en la primera ocasión se olvidaron o no la trajeron. En la segunda nos trajeron unas patatas y dos trozos de chorizo (ver fotos)

¿Se come bien?

Sí. La comida tiene muy buen sabor. Nosotros pedimos:

Hamburguesa de buey Sandwich tabernita

¿Ponen cantidad?

Como siempre, os remito a las fotos y a lo que cada uno considere justo en términos cantidad/calidad/precio, Nosotros éramos 2 personas y nos quedamos bien, quizá en hamburguesas no, pero en otros platos tipo croquetas, tacos, etc, por lo que ví, estaría mejor si aumentaran la cantidad.

En cuanto a las tostas me parecen pequeñas, creo que es algo que deberían mejorar.

¿Algo que destacar?

Mi hamburguesa vino poco hecha y chorreaba una mezcla de jugos y tomate. No es algo malo, pero me pilló de sorpresa y, si me descuido, hubiera acabado con los pantalones o la camisa manchada. Tampoco me preguntaron cómo de hecha quería la carne, hubiera sido un detalle, aunque es algo a lo que no doy importancia.

SERVICIO:

Amable, normal, nada que destacar.

LA HORA DEL DIEZMO

En total la cuenta se quedó en 30.50€ Podéis ver el consumo detallado en la foto del tiquet.

CONCLUSIÓN:

No está nada mal el sitio, tiene buena relación calidad/precio. Como curiosidad veréis en las fotos que las paredes están llenas de monedas y algún que otro objeto (un pendiente, por ejemplo). Pregunté al personal y no supieron decirme por qué la gente coloca esas cosas en la pared, si bien es cierto que hay otros sitios en Toledo (como La Malquerida) donde ocurre lo mismo.

Very disappointing. From the moment we entered, some staff laughed at us, which made us feel unwelcome. The restaurant was nearly empty, and we only ordered drinks. At first, nothing was mentioned, but later another staff member told us we had to move because we didn’t order food. Even though we explained we would leave in about 10 minutes, they insisted we had to order either a croquette or a tapas to keep our table. In the end, we moved and, not wanting to stay any longer, quickly finished our drinks and left. It felt like we were treated differently from other guests, which made the whole experience uncomfortable and unpleasant.

Went here on recommendation from the place where I was staying. The food was ok but a bit overpriced, but the wait was way too long. Usually in tapas places, you order and they bring out your food within minutes. After half an hour of ordering a salad and a fried calamari sandwich here, they were still not ready, and I didn't even have time to eat as I was running late for a walking tour. Even though the restaurant was full, salads and sandwiches should not take half an hour to prepare, and I told the waiter several times that I needed to go soon but they didn't seem to hurry things up.
