The Bolognese Paste was abysmal. The pasta was overcooked, it had an acid aftertaste and it lacked flavor. Somehow, their “Venison Stew” was absolutely horrendous. It tasted rancid, sour and had absolutely no redeeming qualities. Believe me when I tell you that their Venison Stew tasted something more along the lines of a Venom Stew. I would say the grilled pork was satisfactory, but the potatoes were overcooked. My only pleasant experience in this pretentious abode were the desserts (possibly because the desserts were derived from elsewhere.) I noticed a lot of rather suspicious reviews, including one citing a ludicrous endorsement from Michelin. I recommend buying your venison meat in El Corte Ingles instead. The service was peculiar, as the owner’s stern demeanor and watchful eye surely affected all parties involved. Definitely don’t recommend...

Excellent food at this beautifully renovated restaurant round the back of the Cathedral. We paid €52 for a lunch for two including the menu del dia, a bottle of water, a couple of glasses of wine and two coffees. I started with very tasty grilled vegetables on toast with cheese, moved on to grilled pork with parmentier potatoes and vegetables, and finished by sharing two puddings with my partner - a chocolate mouse and a very light cheesecake, both excellent. It's actually very good value considering the quality - you can eat a lot worse in Toledo for not much less money. And for those complaining about the staff - try smiling and being polite and you'll find they are very nice and...

Quisimos comer algo fuera del menú y elegimos las migas, los triángulos de queso de cabra y el arroz con setas y secreto. La comida estaba bien, pero nada del otro mundo para el precio que cobran... El secreto se notaba que era congelado ya que estaba cortado en cubos perfectos y estaba muy seco. El arroz si bien advierten que el mínimo para pedirlo son 2 personas, tened muy en cuenta que el precio que marcan es por cada uno!! Para mi gusto demasiado caro para el poco sabor que tenía y el secreto recién descongelado. El pan no lo ponen en carta, no te preguntan si lo quieres, directamente te lo sirven y luego te lo cobran a 2€ por bollo de pan. A nosotros nos sirvieron 2 y solo comimos 1. El otro teníamos pensado guardarlo, pero en cuanto nos vinieron a retirar los platos para traer el postre, lo recogieron con los platos sucios y fuera. El precio del agua como si fuera otro.

Al final por una comanda de 3 platos, 1 botella de agua, 1 caña y 1 café... 75€ (bueno y 2 bollos de pan). En mi opinión muy caro, ya que la comida tampoco era increíble.

Sobre el personal, supongo que tendrían un mal día ya que eran solo 2 para todo el local. Hubieramos agradecido que se nos recomendase pedir un plato menos, ya que no conocemos las cantidades y si llegamos a ser de comer poco, nos habría sobrado la mitad. No hubiera estado de más preguntarnos si ambos queríamos pan o no, ya que finalmente se va a cobrar lo comas o no. Y el hecho de esperar 15 minutos hasta que llegó la cuenta, no lo tendremos en cuenta ya que eran sólo 2 para todo el local lleno y teniendo la cocina un...
