What an amazing experience we had at this restaurant! While staying in Toledo, we thought the restaurant opened at 7pm (when actually it was at 7:30pm). Karena so graciously let my husband and I and our 2 jet-lagged children wait inside the restaurant until opening time rather than sitting out in the cold. We didn’t even have a reservation (this place is popular so try to make a reservation ahead of time!!) but rather than turning us away, they allowed us to dine and in turn, we promised to try to make it quick! The food was awesome! The owner is actually from Lake Como and nailed all the dishes! We particularly enjoyed the lasagne, eggplant parmigiana, and you can’t go wrong with any of the pizzas!! Delicious!! They also have some Italian wines and beer available! All the staff is so lovely and helpful, but Karena is a beautiful soul and made our experience that much more memorable! Thank you for taking us in and Thank You for a wonderful memory that we’ll take with us always of the people...

Service- My family and I were searching for a restaurant when we stumbled upon Osteria Manzoni, where we were warmly greeted by the staff. They were friendly and attentive to us despite multiple tables of customers at the restaurant.
Food- We started off our meal with the Aperativo y Grissini (house appetizer) which were grissini (bread sticks), prosciutto, and burrata with truffle oil. For the mains, our family of 4 shared a Gnocchi Sorrentina, Spaghetti Carbonara, Pizza Tartufo, and 4 Stagioni. The pasta dishes were our favorites as they were flavorful and made use of fresh pasta. The pizzas we ordered were the thin, crispy, and light type- not really my preference so it was fine. Nonetheless, it was a good balance to our heavier...
Read moreThis restaurant combines MEDIOCRE food with POOR service and HIGH COSTS. The pizza was decent, but the salads were poorly made with a glaring lack of attention to balance and detail. The pasta was not well cooked nor well seasoned. The Focaccia was also very bland. Most glaringly, the waiter forgot an order and we had to wait 50 minutes for a mediocre pasta dish. When this was brought up to the store manager, he was rude and argumentative. It makes sense this restaurant was nearly empty the entire 1+ hour we were there. Overall a very poor experience for...
