Livingstone is always a vibe. The bar is family owned and they are the nicest people in the whole town. I lived in Toledo for around 5 months and anytime my friends and I would go out, we would first stop at Livingstone to grab some “chupitos” and “copas” before going to the (more expensive) night clubs. The bar has no cell service, but I believe it makes the whole experience better because people are obligated to sit down and talk. Which makes for more memorable moments. I would like to mention with the utmost respect that their theme and decorations are outdated and some people might find it slightly offensive, like myself. The theme is ‘British colonials in Africa’. Basically there’s a lot of pictures of British colonizers enslaving and studying African people, and artifacts “stolen” by the African population or something of that nature.
