I paid €70 for what was marketed as an exclusive “experience for two” at 270º, but it was completely unnecessary. There were plenty of free tables available, and the actual minimum consumption is only €10 per person. I ended up paying €70 for two cocktails that were €14 each — meaning I overpaid by €42 for no added value. There’s no food offered at all — not even basic snacks or appetizers — just drinks. While the service from the waitstaff was good, the overall experience was soured by the treatment we received afterward. As we waited downstairs for our Uber, the security guard rudely told us we couldn’t stand in the lobby because it was “for guests only.” When I explained we had just been at the 270º bar and paid for drinks, he dismissed it completely. For a place that markets itself as premium, the treatment of paying customers was shockingly poor. Do not waste your money on the “experience.” You can just walk in, sit at a table, and order directly without any reservation or prepayment. I will not be coming back.

"Visited 270º Terrace at Barceló, and wow, the view is absolutely breathtaking. However, I must say the service left a lot to be desired. We patiently waited for 20 minutes without anyone even acknowledging us for a drink order. Trying to get the waiter's attention felt like a real challenge. Many other patrons were also visibly frustrated, and some had to get up and ask for service themselves. I'm not sure if it's a lack of awareness or a slow pace in their service, but it's disappointing when you're paying a premium for drinks and hospitality is lacking. It seems like they might be banking on the incredible view to compensate for the service. I'd say it's worth a visit for the view alone, but don't expect top-notch service. If you don't mind a bit of a struggle for your order, it's a great spot to check out."

Used to be our favourite spot but now they’ve introduced a minimum order of €10/person for the first item consumed (you cannot even pay for e.g. 3 beers in advance, the first beer will be charged at €10). Those looking to have some beers will be disappointed. On top of this, service is slow and “forgetful”. The view is what it used to be but other than that the place cannot be recommended. On the way down the elevator broke down and 8 of us were stuck in it for 15 minutes. When we were finally released, the hotel employee told us we were too many in the elevator (it’s validated for 800kgs and we were nowhere near that) - the lamest excuse instead of an apology. The attached image accurately illustrates the feelings we were left with after our visit.

On the plus side, the views are great and the place itself isn't bad. The 1 star rating is for the terrible treatment while there. I was there with 2 small kids, one of which was asleep in a buggy. They buggy was place adjacent to our table and wasn't bothering anyone or blocking the path. We were already there for 20 minutes and waiting for cocktails when a rude (presumably security employee) comes over to tell me to "keep the buggy out of the way". I couldn't believe my ears - if the placement of the buggy was a problem, then let me know that when i first arrive, not when I've already been there for a while and the buggy is completely stationary. What's worse is that he said "I was told to tell you this by the manager". Impossible to know whether that was true or not but make everything all the more shady. Not only that, but when I'm asking this employee to explain himself he repeats "just keep it out of the way, ¿ok?" and then walks off away from my table WHILE I WAS STILL TALKING TO HIM! To add insult to injury, another person comes over 5 minutes later AND STARTS TO MOVE MY BUGGY BY HIMSELF WITHOUT ASKING! That's where I totally lost patience and told him in no uncertain terms that I will be the one to move my son's buggy, not anyone else. But at least this person apologised once I had explained what had already happened.

To be crystal clear, this has nothing to do with the waitresses who served us, or the bar staff (the cocktails were nice). The 1 star is 100% due to the disgraceful treatment by...

Very nice view over the ciutat de las artes. However, pretentious, overpriced, AND very bad service.

Our group ordered a bottle of prosecco and some sparkling water. Even though this was more than the required minimum expenditure of 10 euros per person the waiter said this was not allowed and we should order a cocktail, but he would make an exception for us. Our neighbours ordered 1 beer per person (5 euros each) and were allowed to to this. After the waiter poured our glasses and I wanted to take a sip from my drink, I noticed a lipstick stain from a previous customer and handed them my glass with prosecco, asking for a clean one. They came back with an empty glass and the bill.

In a decent establishment I would have expected to at least receive back a full glass of prosecco and an apology. I am not...
