On the plus side, the views are great and the place itself isn't bad. The 1 star rating is for the terrible treatment while there. I was there with 2 small kids, one of which was asleep in a buggy. They buggy was place adjacent to our table and wasn't bothering anyone or blocking the path. We were already there for 20 minutes and waiting for cocktails when a rude (presumably security employee) comes over to tell me to "keep the buggy out of the way". I couldn't believe my ears - if the placement of the buggy was a problem, then let me know that when i first arrive, not when I've already been there for a while and the buggy is completely stationary. What's worse is that he said "I was told to tell you this by the manager". Impossible to know whether that was true or not but make everything all the more shady. Not only that, but when I'm asking this employee to explain himself he repeats "just keep it out of the way, ¿ok?" and then walks off away from my table WHILE I WAS STILL TALKING TO HIM! To add insult to injury, another person comes over 5 minutes later AND STARTS TO MOVE MY BUGGY BY HIMSELF WITHOUT ASKING! That's where I totally lost patience and told him in no uncertain terms that I will be the one to move my son's buggy, not anyone else. But at least this person apologised once I had explained what had already happened.
To be crystal clear, this has nothing to do with the waitresses who served us, or the bar staff (the cocktails were nice). The 1 star is 100% due to the disgraceful treatment by...
Read moreI paid €70 for what was marketed as an exclusive “experience for two” at 270º, but it was completely unnecessary. There were plenty of free tables available, and the actual minimum consumption is only €10 per person. I ended up paying €70 for two cocktails that were €14 each — meaning I overpaid by €42 for no added value.
There’s no food offered at all — not even basic snacks or appetizers — just drinks. While the service from the waitstaff was good, the overall experience was soured by the treatment we received afterward.
As we waited downstairs for our Uber, the security guard rudely told us we couldn’t stand in the lobby because it was “for guests only.” When I explained we had just been at the 270º bar and paid for drinks, he dismissed it completely. For a place that markets itself as premium, the treatment of paying customers was shockingly poor.
Do not waste your money on the “experience.” You can just walk in, sit at a table, and order directly without any reservation or prepayment. I will not be...
Read moreVery nice view over the ciutat de las artes. However, pretentious, overpriced, AND very bad service.
Our group ordered a bottle of prosecco and some sparkling water. Even though this was more than the required minimum expenditure of 10 euros per person the waiter said this was not allowed and we should order a cocktail, but he would make an exception for us. Our neighbours ordered 1 beer per person (5 euros each) and were allowed to to this. After the waiter poured our glasses and I wanted to take a sip from my drink, I noticed a lipstick stain from a previous customer and handed them my glass with prosecco, asking for a clean one. They came back with an empty glass and the bill.
In a decent establishment I would have expected to at least receive back a full glass of prosecco and an apology. I am not...
