This was the first place we tried Valencian paella in. I need to say that the paella was good. Rice seasoned and al dente, generous portions of meat and a perfect portion for two. So for what I tried, this is a 4/5 stars. We had to wait 20 minutes only, which made it a perfect timing. As I said, the paella was good, but not amazing - and I am not sure if this is because I prefer other types of paella or of the execution. We would definitely recommend it though. My red wine came very cold, so I couldn’t drink it also because for some reason it was coming up. In addition, at a certain moment, the air conditioning was quite high. The restaurant (at least inside, upstairs) is not fancy, but rather “casero” style, offering a bunch of things from burgers to pastas and salads. Good if you want to have a cozy evening out though. The price is extremely fair.

There is a lot of seating, especially upstairs, and they can accommodate groups of all sizes. We chose this place because we wanted paella and other reviews say the paella is good. The paella was hardly seasoned and if you got a bite of just rice, it was really bland. There was hardly any seafood in it so overall it just felt like eating plain rice. It also wasn’t not crunchy on the bottom which is my favourite part of paella. All the other items were good, but nothing exceptional. The bravas were bravas, the fried squid was a bit forgettable and the tuna salad had overcooked hard boiled eggs (black yolk) which is unappetizing. The vibe is ok. Even though it’s in a great location, the decor is lacklustre. If you’re seated upstairs, it’s outdated and lacks personality. I’m not sure I could recommend this place.

My family was attracted to this restaurant by a very nice waiter who spoke to us very nicely and we decided to give this place a chance. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to this place. We all ordered Bloody Marys, which, firstly, we had to wait a very long time, too long, and secondly, it was the most disgusting cocktail we had ever drunk, it tasted like one tomato juice diluted with water in three glasses, a ton of Tabasco sauce was poured in and that was it, the bartender tried to explain that we specially ordered it, although all we said was just Bloody Mary. The Caesar salad and gazpacho soup were delicious, but the other food were not so good.
