Bar Canadá — Restaurant in Valencia

Went here today. We ordered a few tapas. The patatas bravas and croqeutas were very soft and not fried enough. We also ordered Spanish Tortilla that was to old. When we told that the patatas and croqeutas were not fried long enough the waitress told that it's like it's suppose to be and is good. After make our point clear she only took the croqeutas back with an unhappy face. And we didn't see her back so we didn't know what they would do to fix it. We went inside with the patatas bravas and the cook put them in the microwave to warm them up. The point was not they weren't warm enough but not crispy enough and putting them in the microwave made it even worse. I think the cook doesn't take pride in his work and hates his job and is probably depressed the way he walks around and gave us the feeling that we were wrong. He must be proud of the authentic tapas they serve and is not respectful to the beautiful products that his country has to offer. I feel sorry for the waitress she told us they get a lot of complaints that the kitchen does not want to solve and saw she felt ashamed of the food she had to serve. At the end she took the food that we were unhappy of of the bill to make it right. It's a shame but it us just a tourist trap and don't go here if you expect good tapas. But just go here for a drink and go somewhere else to eat. Or maybe the food is better here when the cook of today...

MALA ATENCIÓN, VULGARIDAD EN EL TRATO Y EXCESO DE CONFIANZA.

NO FUI ATENDIDA DURANTE 40 minutos. A pesar de que no había exceso de clientes, de haber saludado en la barra a la camarera, y de haber sido vista por el camarero que da servicio a la terraza.

Cuando fui a pedir el libro de reclamaciones, me dijeron que no lo tenían, que “esperara al dueño”. Dispuesta a esperar, pregunté a qué hora llegaría: ¡tres horas más tarde!

Lástima. El personal ha estropeado un bar que fue emblemático.

Las camareras y el camarero tienen comportamientos vulgares e irreverentes, al hacer preguntas personales o comentarios a las y los parroquianos frecuentes, utilizando a menudo un discurso soez y carente de interés.

Y si levantamos un muro para evitar “confraternizar”, pasamos por “clientes estirados”.

Lo peor de una estancia en la barra es que seguramente escucharás a las y los trabajadores ventilar sus problemas laborales delante de la clientela.

A finales del mes de julio 2023, pase a tomar un cortado y un pincho de tortilla, cuando me traen la tortilla y después de escuchar como una señora en el interior le decía a otra, que la tortilla no era de hoy, esta otra persona con acento sudamericano, le respondía que estaba bien, que la había calentado en el micro y no se notaba. Tampoco había muchas distancia y aunque bajaron la voz, se le escucho. Cuando me sirvieron el plato pude observar como el pincho de tortilla, tenia una costra dura, con lo cual no era del día. Cuando uno guisa, se da cuenta también cuando se reutilizan el aceite. Una tortilla solo tiene huevo, patatas y aceite, no sabe a pescado. En otra ocasión -hará como 6 meses- ya pude observar como la gente protestaba, tardan muchísimo en atender (en barra), ya no digamos en mesa. Las personas que atienden son mayores y la que es más joven como esta Sra. con acento de otro país no tiene escrúpulos a la hora de presentar un pincho sobre la barra.
