Defecto Bar de Vinos Naturales — Restaurant in Valencia

The place is cosy and nice, good atmosphere too. It's a pity that the service wasn't as good. The glass of wine it's 5€, over the average, but it's natural. They served us very little, they were also trying to decide how much to serve before bringing us the glass. We felt robbed when saw the glass. We've kindly asked if could be possible to have a bit more. They took long to come back, and no because they couldn't before. And when the added a bit more, they haven't done it in a nice way. When more people start coming and we saw their glasses, they had much more than what we had. It was a different shape of glass, but still the difference was really big. Details for me are very important and unfortunately this one made our experience...

Hands down my absolute favorite spot in Valencia.

We ordered a glas of orange and sparkling wine and were both impressed by the complex taste. We added a few bites (nacho’s, sardines and hummus) and got some new glasses. This was another sparkling wine with a little bit less of a layered taste but also delicious.

We ended up taking a bottle home and had the best conversation with the owners. They are such great, sweet, genuine people with a lot of passion for their business.

There are a few places in Valencia where you can have a good coffee and Defecto was a very pleasant surprise! It opened recently and offers a great specialty coffee. I had breakfast there many times and now it's definitely my favourite place in the city center. The food is fresh and tasty and the cakes are delicious!
