We went there because my wife can't have gluten and it seemed easy enough. We were welcomed after our reservation and the waiter recognized the gluten free comment on our reservation. Nice touch. But that's pretty much where the positive ended. The food was rather uninspired. Patatas bravas were solid. The bread was nothing more than rusks. The escalivada had maybe seen a thuna swimming by but not much of it made it onto the plate, where the overcooked and under-seasoned veggies were left kind of lost. The croqueta de bacalau could do with a little more crunch and sauce. The Cazuela de pisto con embutido was the biggest disappointment however. It took over an hour to get served. Considering that's a dish that's ready to serve by simply plating it, that's insane. There was maybe four pieces of meat and two slices of bell pepper in there. The rest was substituted with cheap sausage. Not chorizo mind you but it's cheap cousin, that's just bland with a goey texture. The biggest letdown however was the service. As uninspired as the dishes, uninterested, downright bored and annoyed that we dared to set foot into their restaurant. Basic, courteous things were missing. No "enjoy your meal", no "would you like another xyz", the plates were practically dropped onto our table and off they went. Quite a shame, considering how simple it could be to deliver quality tapas, without needing to go extravagant or be pretentious about it. But simple, good quality food, with a service to match is apparently hard to come by here. I will say though, the location is great, good atmosphere with the guests around, especially on a busy Saturday night. But I can hardly credit the...
Read moreCame on a group, after looking at the good vegan option reviews. I honestly expected to have more than veggies and potatoes. And pay over 22€ for it (my drink was water). Services was friendly and they were accommodating to veganizing a dish, but it wasn’t as they would add a protein, but actually remove some dairy ingredient… they vegan menu needs modernization- urgently - Maybe for vegetarians that make their dish about the dairy / eggs. It’s ok. But for vegans… the veganized options were very weak. The salad would end up being leafs and walnuts, etc… the main dish that I was recommended as the nicest vegan dish was a mix of caramelized onions, red pepper and some other veggie…. This is what we would add as ONE topper on a burger 🥲 The patatas bravas they had a vegan mayo… wow. That was the only “regular thing” that was veganized. They tasted good but I came here for dinner, when I got home I was hungry and got to eat actual vegan protein after paying here.
So yeah the vegan raving reviews are maybe by people who don’t really know Valencia has incredible vegan options in many restaurants and their bar is low.
I’m sorry to leave a negative review. The place is very cute and service is friendly. But I came here mainly to eat and it was a disappointment. I would not recommend this to vegans at all. Unless u want to just sit down for the same old boring option: potatoes, leafs, mixed veggies…..
Other people on the table orders the 2 people menu, they were 5 people and couldn’t finish, there was A LOT of food wasted. I found that quite sad. Not everyone was able to...

I have never left a review, ever, but this experience was so bad I had to. We each ordered the lasagne. It was a quiet night and we could hear the microwave in action several times and 'pinging' to alert staff that the food was finished. The lasagne came out and it was extremely chewy, while the cheese was very dry. It had clearly been microwaved (and that was without hearing the microwave repeatedly while waiting for it). We barely ate a few spoonfuls each. We had the old style bravas too as they were apparently very good, but these were also below average. There was a lot of water in the bottom of the bowl, some of them were cold and the bravas 'sauce' was merely tomato puree. At no point were we asked how our meal was. When the girl took our plates away she scraped our food into the bin right in front of us, in the middle of the restaurant. Why this wasn't scraped into a bin in the kitchen, and why they felt this was OK, is beyond me. The best part of the night was the mocktail we each got that cost a whopping €8 each, ridiculous. We eat out on average 2 or 3 times a week as it's our favourite thing to do. As I said, we've never left a review, but this experience was so utterly terrible we felt we had no option but...
