Látex Club — Local services in Valencia

Entered the club on the first night of arrival on a Saturday night, didn't plan it but as a girl on the street gave us a flyer for a free entrance, me and my boyfriend decided to give it a shot. On the entrance we presented the flyer that gave us free access til 01:30, the ticket girl in the club said that we can either pay for entrance 15 eur and get 1 free drink with it or we can use this free entrance pass and we HAVE TO spend at least 12 eur on drinks. That was a rather weird welcome but we said yes to free pass and entered. The club was in the basement as we entered there was some interesting red laser lights on the really tiny dance floor, other then that it was a really random small place. It was half empty even though it was extra small club on a Saturday night. The people were rather random, seemes like a place where people go when they don't know what else to do. Pretty good music, but there is no way I’m going back. My friend got sexually assaulted in the bathroom over the weekend because someone followed them from the dance floor into the toilet and tried to make a move. Luckily my friend got away and left the club quickly to be safe.

NONE of the toilets have locks at all, so people can walk in whenever. It’s a recipe for sexual assault and so dangerous. If you go, be prepared to have a friend hold the door shut so you don’t get assaulted. Shame on Latex, even portable toilets on the beach are safer than this.

Tras leer otras reseñas tenia dudas sobre esta discoteca. Sin embargo, menos mal que he ido ya que resultó ser un éxito total. El local se encuentra en el sótano y, por lo tanto, en la pista de baile no se dispone de cobertura móvil (en mi opinion un plus, pero tenlo en cuenta). El area dedicado para el DJ y bailar es relativamente pequeño pero cuenta con excelente ventilación, y distribución de sonido. Tambien hay que notar que tanto las 2 barras, el acceso al servicio o las salidas del recinto están comunicados sin necesidad de cruzar la pista de baile.

Pros: Precio entrada muy accessible y cuenta con una consunción incluida. Amplia disponibilidad de taquillas Porteros muy amables, respetuosos y con experiencia de manejar casos difíciles. Suficientes baños para el número de aforo y encima relativamente limpios para ser una discoteca. Buena iluminación que favorece a la música. Ambiente más amable que he visto en mucho tiempo. Absolutamente nadie busca jaleo o líos, algo que me sorprendió mucho. También un ambiente muy abierto a la comunidad lgbtqia+. Me dio la impresión que todo mundo se sentía segura, aceptada y pudiendo disfrutar de la noche.

Contras: En ciertos momentos dados hay una cola relativamente larga para salir fumar o tomar aire. El corredor de los servicios hacia la salida puede resultar insuficientemente ancho para facilitar la salida de las personas, cola de fumar y servicio de taquillas.
