We did order some enchilada's but we didn't like the way they were prepared. It seemed that they were heaten up. When we told them we didn't like them and we wouldn't eat the rest, they told us that that's the way they prepare it in Mexico ( we ate enchiladas at a lot of different places and cities where we always loved the way they tasted but we never had this version where the wraps were mushy/soft like heatened up etc.). We told them that we would only pay for our drinks (since we only had tasted the plate) but they charged us the food anyway without proposing to have something different for our money... Last but not least: €14/enchilada is a lot of money ...(even if you eat the whole plate instead of a bite) So we wouldn't recommend this place.
Update: Thank you for your reply, but the problem isn't that we didn't liked your food, because that can happen. The problem lies here: we told you we didn't like it and you didn't reached out to us to find any kind of settlement. It's not nice to pay for something you didn't consume. That is not customer friendly at all. Normally it's oké to say that you don't like the food but the restaurants always finds a way to make you satisfied. You did gave us a discount (we payed 25€ for consuming a beer and a juice instead of your original Bill of €33) but that was only after our discussion that we wouldn't pay for something we didn't eat. So we are not at all pleased customers of your place, not because we didn't like the enchiladas but because you didn't treat us as customers the way I think you...
Read moreWe tried this place the other day and it was a total let down. Not good at all. Sorry, this is not Mexican food. It was false advertisement, really. They do not have any idea of real Mexican food. It was like they bought it from a Mexican owner, got lessons about the menu and started serving food. I had the tacos. The tortillas were cold and broken in pieces. They didn’t get the concept of picking up the taco to eat. The Tamale, was also a disappointment. It appeared to be purchased by a third party vendor and just heated and served. I also tried the mango margarita. It was mango syrup, tequila and blended ice. Nothing good about it. Too sweet. I didn’t order the nachos and they pushed for that. They looked good. But I can make nachos at home easily. Nothing special. This place will continue to have patrons because it was clean and cool. Most people will eat the nachos and have some drinks. But it will never be real Mexican food. Just an acceptable restaurant to eat at with friends.
Dear Owner: Go to Mexico, try the food, take some notes and come back and make changes. Or just call your place “The Nachos place” its a better...
Read moreWe were hesitant to try this place because we are originally from Austin Texas and we have a high bar for Mexican and TexMex food, but after months without queso, we decided it was worth a shot. On our first visit, we had the nachos and margaritas (small snack to see how authentic it was) and were not disappointed. Today, we came back for a full meal. We ordered the Beef fajitas and the Aztec Cake. The beef fajitas were good on flavor, but I missed the char on the meat that I've become accustomed to. They did come with fantastic flour tortillas. The winner was definitely the Aztec Cake. It's like stacked chicken enchiladas in a poblano cream sauce that's smokey. rich, creamy, and delicious. Absolutely will be having this again!!! The table next to us ordered a salad and the portion was huge. The prices look high, but everything was sized for 2 people to share which makes the cost really reasonable. Also, for those that are in the know, they have...
