100 Montaditos — Restaurant in Valencia

Came here on a Saturday, asked for chicken wings and received some chicken chicken strips. Okay, we thought its maybe the language barrier that we noticed. So we gave it another try on Sunday, and asked for the wings and pointed at the “alitas de pollo” on the menu. However we received potato wedges…when we tried to explain to the server guy, he spoke to the kitchen and came back to us saying “sorry cant change it”. We explained how it wasn’t our fault, and he could them explain that to the kitchen - where i think the chef is the manager or supervisor, who only spoke spanish and sent the message with the server that clearly was “CANT CHANGE IT”. We even tried with a translator on our phone to explain to the chef through the kitchen window, but she was speaking spanish very fast and not in a nice way, and left it as it is. In my opinion and previous experiences in customer service, this is not acceptable in hospitality. Completely out of the customer’s fault, because of a waiter’s lack of communication skills they make the wrong order and make us pay, without compensation or making the right one. TWICE! I dont think we will give this place a 3rd try. The 2stars are only for the quality of the food,...

100 Montaditos is a popular chain offering, as the name suggests, 100 different small sandwiches, or “Montaditos.”

These aren’t just regular sandwiches, they also come in other forms, like hotdogs, burgers, or even mini pizzas.

I’ve visited this place several times, usually on a Wednesday or Sunday, when all the “sandwiches” are just €1 each.

It’s a great deal, and the beer is incredibly cheap too (€2 for 54cl 🍺)

While the food and service aren’t restaurant quality, it’s still a fun and affordable place to try different bites.

FYI - I ordered the burgers once but won’t do that again, stick with the OG’s montaditos and...

Found this place by accident after the hop on hop off bus broke down. Walked in for a beer and found that a huge pint of beer and glass of wine were only €2 each. Also, on Sundays they have "Euromania" where all their little sandwiches and hotdogs are €1 each!! We had a massive plate of food and got a little tipsy for less than €20!!! Servers were not overly friendly like they are in North America..."Any plans for the rest of the night?"... as they prey for a massive tip, but the to the point efficiency here and in all of Spain is greatly appreciated....
