We had an excellent experience at Gallina Negra. They are moving soon to Cabanyal so currently they are on farewell mode from the city center, featuring the hits from previous menus.
We had an amazing carrousel of dishes on which the tuna balls and the chilli crab where the standouts. Very interesting shapes and techniques , such as the creative approach to cod in the first dish.
Nonetheless, we would have preferred less fried food dishes to finish the menu. Also the sweet potato and the syrup on the cheesecake was an overkill, better to do one or the other in our opinion . But all in all everything was very tasty and we had a good time
Giving 5 stars. We understand they are moving to order location, we will return and try the new menu there. Also we suggest to rethink that green color on their decor for...

Each dish was obviously considered and refined and each dish had a twist I wasn’t expecting … which is hard to do in today’s world of copy paste fine dining. Value for money is off the charts. Favorites for the evening were for sure the grilled fish and pumpkin dish, the artichoke cod chowder, and the mushroom and black garlic desert. Funky, balanced, tradition with a twist. But that’s not to say the other dishes weren’t extraordinary… but it’s hard to stand out among all of...
