This little bistro is absolutely fabulous on many fronts: the food is delicious, plentiful and varied. George the owner and chef, can make a potato so flavoured, with many variations of sauces and spice. The prices are very reasonable as well. The ambiance and decor is absolutely fabulous, especially for such a small place. Then there is George and his charming assistant, they are both wonderful people who will entertain you with their conversation, although my Spanish is virtually non existent, George can speak some English, and if you speak slowly, he makes a concerted effort to understand you. The restaurant is also good if you just want to drop in for a beer or a wine. My favourite time is about 8ish before it gets full, and you can engage in polite and funny conversation with George. I have since come back many times, and each time we are never...

I sat on on first floor table and right away notice the chef preparing anchoa with dirty nails. I asked if he was going to touch my food with anchovies oil on his hands. He said I will wash my hands but he never did. He suggested shrimps (gambas) and I asked about the size which he showed me. Then I asked how many and he said 8. When I got my plate there were 7. When I asked about it he said sometimes shrimps are bigger and that’s why 7 😳 So I said that’s not what you said and he then told the truth. He ran out of shrimps and that’s why he gave 7. When I got the bill there was a charge for bread, which I didn’t order. He never asked if I wanted bread. I’m not sure if I would come back with so many other restaurant to try around. Also, Higiene in the kitchen is importante to me. On the plus size, the shrimps tasted fresh! And the...

Not many places open on a Monday... We asked a construction worker in the area to suggest a place and he directed us here, saying "tell them a Claudio". Claudio even called ahead and the owner greeted us at the door! ¡Thank you Claudio! Food was delicious. Very reasonable prices. excellent presentation of dishes. Service very friendly. Our group of seven adults highly recommends the Turia Cerveza, the Paris Hilton (a sort of skillet dinner made in a small paella dish), the Grilled Goat Cheese, the Meatballs like your grandmother makes, and the Chicken Skewer with vegetables, Potatos del Rico...¡everything we had! Spanish names: Cerveza Turia, Paris Hilton, Queso de Cabra a la Plancha, Albondigas de la Abuela, Brocheta de Pollo con Verduras,...

My favourite experience of Valencia, that everyone should try to visit at least once! Wonderfully tasty freshly cooked food, that avoids the cliché dishes every other restaurant seems to have, offering non-greasy and exciting tapas! We started with the champigniones y pimientos de padrones, and then had the grilled goats cheese with jam, grandma's meatballs, the Paris Hilton potatoes were truly unique and are a must have (not vegetarian)! We finished with the local specialty cake, that was a perfect end to the meal. Everything was delicious and we'll be coming back again soon!

Home like bistro bar, very welcoming staff, I guess that the owner is also the chef, those kind of places are the best. We came very late, around 23:30 and we got dinner, very delicious, the local tomato that grows on sand, simply amazing, check the photos. The olives 🫒 delicious 🤤. Home made meatballs, very soft. Enjoy a small, unique place. Salud!
