This little bistro is absolutely fabulous on many fronts: the food is delicious, plentiful and varied. George the owner and chef, can make a potato so flavoured, with many variations of sauces and spice. The prices are very reasonable as well. The ambiance and decor is absolutely fabulous, especially for such a small place. Then there is George and his charming assistant, they are both wonderful people who will entertain you with their conversation, although my Spanish is virtually non existent, George can speak some English, and if you speak slowly, he makes a concerted effort to understand you. He said I will wash my hands but he never did. He suggested shrimps (gambas) and I asked about the size which he showed me. Then I asked how many and he said 8. When I got my plate there were 7. When I asked about it he said sometimes shrimps are bigger and that’s why 7 😳 So I said that’s not what you said and he then told the truth. He ran out of shrimps and that’s why he gave 7.
