Pasqual + Sheila is without a doubt the best restaurant in Valencia, and you won’t be disappointed! Before writing this review, I visited the restaurant multiple times and tried many different dishes.
I have to highlight the prawns with carfelle — perfectly cooked with a spicy, flavorful sauce that deserves special attention. It’s incredibly delicious. I’ve also had the burger three times — I’ve never had a bun like this anywhere in the world. It’s reminiscent of puff pastry, super crispy, and pairs perfectly with the beautifully cooked meat and onion in a creamy cheese sauce. The homemade pickles are just fantastic.
The drinks are also top-notch. It’s important to me that a restaurant offers great non-alcoholic drinks, not just the usual sodas. Here, I tried their homemade lemonades — absolutely amazing! If you don’t drink alcohol, you won’t be disappointed with the options here.
The beef tartare was another standout — with mustard, egg, and everything perfectly balanced, it’s executed at the highest level. The desserts at this place deserve a review of their own. I’ve had the pistachio velvet (three times), napoleon, chocolate cheesecake, mango cheesecake, and berry cheesecake. All of them are fresh with a perfect balance of sweetness. I don’t like overly sugary desserts, and these were just right. Honestly, the napoleon here is the best I’ve had anywhere in the world, and as a pistachio lover, the pistachio velvet is my favorite.
I also tried their syrniki and croissant for breakfast — both were delicious! The syrniki were soft, and the croissant was crispy and airy. Their breakfasts are just as impressive as the main menu.
The design and service are top-notch as well. Everything is done with great taste, from the interior to the attentive staff. The atmosphere here is cozy and comfortable, making the experience even better.
Lastly, I recently tried a new dish — the pumpkin gnocchi. It’s hard to put into words how incredible they were! Gnocchi are often poorly made elsewhere, but here, for the first time, they reached a level of fine dining. The delicate flavor will stay with me for a lifetime.
Pasqual + Sheila is a place where quality, taste, atmosphere, and service come together perfectly. You definitely won’t be...
Read moreA beautiful Ukrainian cafe with disgusting Soviet service. I was a regular customer at this cafe for a few months and used to eat breakfast and lunch there all the time, but then they started introducing different strange rules.
First they said that you can sit for no more than two hours and then you have to leave. This made me tense, because what difference does it make how long I spend if I keep ordering more food and drinks? I started going less often. Then one day I came and while I was waiting for breakfast I took out my macbook and they told me that it was no longer allowed downstairs with a laptop and did it when I was still waiting for food hungry. I went upstairs already dissatisfied that I was not warned in advance and humiliatingly had to leave, but the abuse of a regular customer did not end there.
When I went up to the second floor and chose a table and sat down, another waiter came and said that at this table you can't use your laptop either. At the same time, attention, 90% of the tables in the cafe were empty on the first floor and on the second floor!
Is it impossible to treat a regular customer with care and respect? Is it impossible to give a person to eat and then tell about the new rules? Don't you realize that you are killing your business with such attitude and rules? I have already left several thousand euros with you and brought a lot of friends. And now I have a lot of negative emotions when I think about your place!
I am already afraid to come to you because every time you invent new wild rules and apply them humiliatingly to...
Read moreWe had the pleasure of hosting a team dinner for eleven at Pasqual + Sheila, and it could not have been a better choice. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely welcome and looked after us with warmth and professionalism.
The menu was inventive yet rooted in local traditions, with each dish showcasing both technical finesse and a real sense of place. The pacing was just right for a large group—never rushed, but always attentive. Highlights included beautifully balanced small plates, superb seafood, and desserts that were as memorable as the main courses. The wine pairings were equally thoughtful, enhancing the flavours without overwhelming them.
What really stood out, however, was the atmosphere. Pasqual + Sheila manages to be both elegant and relaxed, making it perfect for a special occasion without ever feeling stiff. Our team left with smiles, full stomachs, and a genuine sense of having shared something special together.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience in Valencia—whether with colleagues,...
