Apartamentos Mon Suites San Martín — Hotel in Valencia

The apartment really suited us.||Comfortable bedroom, long corridor down to the bathroom, kitchen and lounge. Kitchen has everything we needed.||The apartment was spotless, but word of warning we did see a couple of ants so be very careful about any food you leave on the table (in our instance, a couple of biscuits in a bakery bag seemed to attract them) ||We stayed during fallas so it was very loud, but understandably so at the weekend (mid week was fine). I’d recommend ear plugs just in case.||Checking in was easy, we picked up the keys from Mon Suites cathedral which is a 1 minute walk away. The chap at reception pointed us in the right direction and it was super easy. The little streets in the old town are so similar, and all interconnected, so you’ll need Google maps.||Getting there was fine, we got the train getting here (20mins, 5 euros) and a cab back to the airport on the way back for 15 euros. Walking from the station was 15mins. I’d say a cab was more convenient and good value for money. More taxis can’t access the hotel so it’s still a 4 min walk. ||There’s a great tapas place...

Apartment was extremely clean, efficient and ideal for a large group (4-5 people).

The apartment had everything you could possibly think of, plenty of appliances and plug sockets. Beds were comfortable and air conditioning worked perfectly.

The views of the main square were sublime. Everything was worth the price and would 100% come back.

The only thing I could say or give a little suggestion would be to have more keys to access the apartment. There was 5 of us and we only received two pairs of keys. It would’ve been more easier for everyone to have their own pair. But you can’t fault anything.

Location was just superb, right in the centre of Valencia. Surrounded by cafes, restaurants and good...

UNA ESTADÍA DE DOLOR E INDIGNIDAD! ¡NO VENGAN! ​Es un lugar desatento a las necesidades básicas. Mis vacaciones, que tanto esperaba, se convirtieron en una pesadilla de dolor insoportable por culpa de la negligencia de este establecimiento. ​ ​Vine de vacaciones con un ligamento roto en la rodilla. Desde el primer día, el ascensor estuvo fuera de servicio. Y lo que es peor, descubrimos que llevaba MESES así, a pesar de que nos mintieron diciendo que se acababa de romper. ​Tuve que subir y bajar escaleras a diario con mi lesión. Cada escalón era un punzazo de dolor que agravaba mi situación. Los últimos días, el sufrimiento era tal que apenas pude salir de la habitación para disfrutar de mis merecidas vacaciones. Es inconcebible que, viendo mi estado y el de mi esposo, NADIE del personal ofreciera ayuda diaria. Ni una disculpa, ni un plan de contingencia ​ ​La seguridad de este lugar es nula y es un peligro. Las escaleras, que me vi obligada a usar, NO TIENEN BARANDAS/AGARRADERAS. Tampoco hay anti-deslizantes en los escalones. Con mi rodilla lesionada y mi esposo de edad avanzada, cada subida y bajada era una agonía y un riesgo constante de caída grave. ​Mi hija tuvo que convertirse en nuestra "guardiana", controlando cada uno de mis pasos y haciendo de "mula de carga" para que yo no tuviera que subir a buscar nada. Incluso las maletas, al llegar y al irnos, tuvimos que subirlas y bajarlas por esas escaleras infernales. ​

​Para colmo, nos engañaron con la habitación. Esperábamos una nevera con congelador para poder cocinar y organizarnos, como mostraban sus fotos, y nos encontramos con una pequeña heladera sin freezer. ¿Cómo es posible que un apartamento con cocina amplia no tenga un congelador decente? ​Esto significó tener que subir a diario con pesadas bolsas de compras POR LAS ESCALERAS (más dolor para mi rodilla), en lugar de poder hacer una compra grande. ​AHÓRRENSE EL MAL TRAGO, EL DOLOR Y EL DISGUSTO. Si tienen cualquier problema de movilidad, o si simplemente esperan un trato humano, NO PONGAN UN PIE...
