I don’t like to leave bad reviews but this has to be done . First: incredibly hot. Too hot, no air , sweating just staying standing . Second: we order different dishes and the waiters forget 2 of them (5 in total…) Third: sangria: not even similar to a sangria. Super sweat, no fruit in it, a taste mixed between Marsala and red berry juices. Disgusting . Fourth: paella - arroz Negro. Half of the pan was empty … not a problem, cause we left half of it as it was soooo salty that was not possible to finish it . Fifth: steak. Of the whole steak, it was possible to eat less than half as it was just greasy fat super chewy. And together with steak the peppers: covered in honey. So sweat that was more disgusting than the sangria. We thought to be unlucky. The three table around us took the same. And they all left the steak and no one finished the paella. The waiter decided to let us pay only half paella… good gesture thanks. But how could this restaurant be the 30th of the whole Valencia ??? Only really good food was the bravas and the lamb taco … Come on… Sorry guys but it was too much of everything / too hot too salty too sweat too fat …. Kitchen has to be good proportion… and here nothing was respecting this My dream was to eat and then go for ice cream. I left this restaurant so sad That I could not even take the ice cream because I was having nausea for the sweat sangria … Bad bad dinner .forget !!!!

We felt like the waiters were rushing to get our order, serve us, and get us the check. Less than 5seconds after we sat down the waitress asked us “any drinks?” No “hi, welcome”. Given our surprise, she said it’s a common practice in Spain - but this was the only place this happened from all restaurants we’ve been. We had to ask twice to change dirty wine glasses, and the waiter “analyzed” it to see if it was indeed dirty. The other he said “it was just water”. Food was fine. I would not come back for it. It is beautifully presented. The hummus is beautiful. The tartar de pescado is the only dish that really impressed me: make sure you have it. At the end, before asking and still having some wine, the check arrived at the table. Such an unnecessary rush - since it was not busy and it was not closing.

Can’t ask for anything more! Being our first time in Valencia, Carlos was really helpful in recommending us dishes from starters to mains - making sure we tried the best the place had to offer :) Would highly recommend the Valencian Paella (for 2 pax minimum, dry rice) and Charbraised Meatballs (added some tips below too) + We also had the Cod Fritters, Dry Aged Veal Tenderloin Steak Tartare, Artichoke, Sangria Cava, before ending off with the Panna Cotta Pro tips: 1. The place also included a court for Valencian Trinquet where I believe you can catch the trainings/matches when they happen! Really adds to the buzz and experience imho 2. Try to reserve your seats beforehand. We went on a Monday evening right at the opening time of 8pm, and the place was fully booked with only high seats remaining

It really saddens me to leave this review, because I was looking forward to eat here. We had dinner at around 10:30, pretty late but it was the only time they had space for us. I'm not sure if the results of the food quality are related to the fact that it was close to closing time (11:30), it could be that we got unlucky because of this, they wanted to hurry and close the restaurant. So, first of all, we waited almost an hour for our food to arrive, which is kind of insane. At 10:30, you're already hungry because you have been waiting to eat late, so making you wait another hour is crazy. The restaurant was also half empty at that point, so there was really no reason to wait that much. We also saw people that arrived after us getting their food before us, which is just bad. Then, the food arrived, and it was best if it didn't: the paella was not great, it was too salty and overly burned at the bottom. I ate much better paella in other places. What were outrageous were the steamed octopus plates. I wish I took a photo: they were hard, gummy, so hard they were hard to swallow, and the 'potato side' were literal potato CHIPS from a CAN, that you can buy in the supermarket. One expects to find fried potatoes (or even french fries) in a restaurant as a side to the fish you order, not literal potato chips from a can. That was straight up disrespectful, especially for the price, 18 euros for the plate. You expect to get COOKED potatoes with that price.

So yes, the experience was extremely disappointing, especially after seeing all the 5 stars reviews (what?), I'm not sure if we just got unlucky or what happened, but the food was awful quality, and the service also. The only nice thing is that the restaurant itself is really beautiful, even though they kept a door open that let cold air stream into our chairs, which wasn't exactly ideal lol. Just a mess.

Also, be warned that they automatically give you a side dish of baked bread without telling you you're gonna pay for it after, so basically a hidden fee. You expect this to be just a normal side antipasto dish like a bread basket in any restaurant (that is included in the cost of the service), but it's an actual hidden cost they put in the final check. They also keep asking you if you want more, and if you do, of course it costs more. It's just weird and shady.

I would say avoid this place, it seems to cater to tourists and doesn't have good enough food quality to justify the reviews. Just go literally anywhere else and you will find better for...

Possible some of the worst service I've ever received in a restaurant. My partner and I were excited to eat here as we'd heard good things about the place, but our enthusiasm was quickly dampened by the completely apathetic service we received. We were made to feel like a complete inconvenience by our waitress, Lola, who largely ruined our experience. We had to ask multiple times for basics like water, to which Lola would eventually respond in a disgruntled manner, and even then would only bring us one glass for example. She was absolutely delightful to the table next to us, completely attentive, but towards us she barely even tried to hide her discontent, which made the whole experience even more frustrating. Maybe it was because they were Spanish and we're British, however I speak Spanish pretty well and made an effort to communicate in Spanish with our. Waitress. Even the food was mediocre. We ordered the traditional Valencian paella with chicken and rabbit, but it was so salty that we couldn't even finish it (both of us love a lot of salt on our food, but this was bordering on inedible). We asked for the bill around the same time as the table next to us. They were presented with their bill within seconds with a smile, whereas we had to wait 15 minutes until I eventually got impatient and stood to up go over to our waitress and ask for a second time. I don't leave bad reviews lightly, but we were so disappointed with this place. Mediocre food,...
